Luscombe & Co act as a third party in relation to deposits. The landlord has final say over what deductions are put forward to a tenant in regards to the deposit, all we are able to do is advise tenants of the landlords intentions and arrange works as requested by the landlord. We do not have any maintenance contractors affiliated with our company, we deal with a number of contractors who provide us with quotations and costings for works required and they provide us with details of any works needed to remedy. If you are unhappy with any deductions set forward by the landlord, you can opt to use the adjudication process via the deposit protection scheme.
