Very disappointed with after Sales Service

I bought 2 bed house in Lampton Parkside Development in Hounslow. I’m very disappointed with the kind of service I am getting for the defects I reported during warranty with first 6 weeks. It was all very nice and prompt for minor ones. When I reported that there is a crack in basin of one of my bathroom. They promised to replace it. After some chasing, one guy came and replaced the basin but didn’t apply the glue filling around it. He said call customer care and they will send someone else. Again after some chasing customer care said someone will come in one or two weeks until then I cannot use this bathroom as water may run down the basin. Finally the guy came and did the glue filling but did very bad job and left a crack on my basin counter top. When I escalated the quality of work, they again promised to fix it and again the chasing starts. This time I have been chasing for 2 months since December 2023, only answer I hear from customer care is we are waiting for the quote from our vendor. Which vendor takes 2 months just for the quote of this small job. Even if it’s true, doesn’t Hill has the responsibility to take some action against the Vendor ?

Amazing the attention and after sales care. I appreciate Lynsey’s second visit, genuinely caring and immediately acting on the points raised. She referred Simon Cowdrey to do some touches of pain and covering up picture hanging holes. Simon did an exceptional work - he was meticulous in his work, has attention to details, left no dust behind. What sets him apart, beyond the technical proficiency, is the extra mile he went with a smile. Simon did additional work - drill and hang pictures in locations I wanted. Very helpful service

I’ve recently moved in to my new home and as it is with new builds, there are some defects which I reported and have had an appointment booked with one of the team to attend and fix them. Today I’ve met Faik one of the Hill’s team members. He’s been amazing, very chatty, happy and helpful. He went above and beyond in his service, answered all my questions, reassured me in my doubts and also helped me resolve a little issues I had.

Absolutely worst team I have ever come…

Absolutely worst team I have ever come across. So unprofessional and the quality of work is terrible. They have no eye for detail and their lack of communication is appalling. We have had a number of their team saying that they are the worst company. They push jobs around and not complete what needs to be done. They acknowledge there are issues and promise to fix it but then you are ghosted. Some of the individual staff are nice and they don’t have anything to do with it but their management is the worst. Our house has issues that they have acknowledged needs to be fixed however, they keep passing on to person to person and they don’t fix it. I would never recommend them.

I recently had a major repair on my home. It was expertly managed and the work completed by Andy Delaforce and Phil Way. They work together seamlessly, with such a happy and self assured way I was filled with confidence that they would get the job done with great success. They were courteous throughout the 3 day project and very respectful of my home and did everything to tidy up after themselves every day. The job seemed to go very well, even through very challenging wet weather, they got it done with a smile on there face. Great workmanship by Bradley

The work was done in October 2022 but I can't put more than a year back; however I don't want this review to be missed just because I forgot to write about it: Bradley and his colleague did a fantastic job replacing part of the kitchen worktop when it was found to have a defect. Work required was complex and sensitive but he managed to put everything right and at some level better than it was before. Hill should be proud to have people like him.

Great service, just a shame it took so long to get it

We had a problem with our back door that took 2 years to get to a resolution. It's frustrating it took this long when Mike Lewis (who deserves 5 stars) came and fixed it within half an hour. He is an asset to Hill with his very friendly manner and thorough understanding of the problem and how to fix it. If we'd had a visit from Mike 2 years ago, this would have been a 5 star review!
