GoogleWe’ve had a couple of interactions thus far; a 1st viewing went well, the agent showing us a property was very pleasant. When we attempted a second viewing and arrived 5 minutes late the second agent was really quite short and can’t seem to fathom that we have no control over traffic conditions when you travel any distance (we left in plenty of time and were behind a funeral procession for 12 miles). We actually bid on the property and genuinely thought that we’d be in with a chance but it felt like when a second player came in with a higher offer (which they will naturally use to push you further) their communication stopped - though no offers had yet been accepted. We eventually got to a best and last scenario where the company neglected to call with any update. “Oh, you should have been told they had a better offer” was the response. We are now interested in a different property, “the vendor has requested a block viewing, IF we get to your name we’ll give you a call”. I’ve two friends who have recently listed properties and it’s the suggestion of the agent that block viewings are done, to drum up desperate interest. I don’t like being given a 10 minute window to make a £250,000 decision and think the agent should have a responsibility to both sides not to just stoke a desperate grab for people making the biggest financial decision of their lives.

GoogleWould not purchase a property through Crook and Blight! After the problems of being told I had to complete 2-3 months earlier than I had agreed to do when making my bid for the property. I then found out I was liable for 'estate rentcharges' these were not pointed out to me at any time by Crook and Blight, and I certainly would not have made a bid in knowledge of this. When I asked why they had not informed me i was met with rudeness and the general impression it was my problem and not their's. They also claimed they had not heard of the charges before (they also sold 3 properties on the same estate) so they are either delibrately deceptive or totally incompetant. Avoid like the plague.

No consistency and they're quite happy to disappoint hundreds of people, all enquiring about the same property. Holly who usually responds is especially rude and has decided to no longer respond to my requests for updates regarding a property myself, and hundreds of other prospective tenants have been looking to move into. In these uncertain times, STAY AWAY from Crook and Blight!

GoogleWithout Crook and Blight I think our sale would have fallen through. We had a nightmare with the Solicitors of the buyers and if it wasn't for Lara I think I would have lost my sanity. She was incredibly patient and definitely went the extra mile in helping sort things out. I cannot recommend Crook & Blight and Lara enough!

GoogleI don't normally leave reviews but we have recently sold our home with Crook and Blight. The service was great. Staff were always helpful and well informed. Everything happened really quickly too, our property was marketed on rightmove before we'd managed to get around everyone and tell them we were thinking of moving. We were really pleased with the service we recieved, we hope we won't need to use them again for while but would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a good estate agent

FacebookI was purchasing a house through Crook and Blight but had to pull out due to so many delays and lack of communication between seller, buyer and estate agent. Nearly lost me the sale of my property so then had no choice but to pull out. I then had to find a rental quickly, any properties I tried to view with them they made very difficult to book viewings or went with other applicants.
