GoogleViewed a house with Anthony. Have viewed more than 40 properties that past 24months and he was one of the best agents we’ve had. Local knowledge was incredible and his style really personable. GoogleI enquired about a property that I saw for rent on Zoopla, there was no mention of pets not being permitted so on that basis I enquired. No mention means its not a problem, one would reasonably assume? I received a response to my initial enquiry in a timely manner, I was asked to provide answers to a number of personal questions which takes some time to compile. Instantly I received a response stating that this property doesn't accept pets..... I was absolutely fuming, not with regards to the criteria but the fact I had wasted time enquiring and answering their questions only to be told afterwards. I sent them a polite email pointing out my displeasure with the situation, 2 weekdays later have I received a response? Of course not! If these cretins aren't making any money out of you they aren't interested in even gracing you with a response. Its no wonder they have so many poor reviews on here, I'm going to repeat this review elsewhere in the hope they learn their lesson and respond to reasonable correspondence in future.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleMy husband and I were really impressed by the customer service from Crook and Blight when we were ringing them to arrange to view properties. They were always so helpful, polite and friendly. They are quick to answer their phones and they have contacted me when a slot has become available to view a property when it has previously been full. When Ollie showed us around two properties he was very courteous and had a lovely manner. We found ourselves saying to each other that we wished we had chosen Crook and Blight to manage our own house sale. We incorrectly thought that they only took on houses at the higher end of the market. However, when some frustrations with the estate agent we had appointed became too much, we asked when being shown around another property by Kate (again informative, polite and friendly) if they would take on our house. Kate dispelled our falsely informed opinion that Crook and Blight did not take houses across the broader price bracket. I felt an instant wave of relief when I realised I could entrust Crook and Blight to not only sell our house, but also that anyone wanting to buy our house would have the same good level of customer service as we have received. I went to the office where I spoke to both Bethan and Holly to explain our situation. They were so happy to help us and have been really quick at getting the ball rolling to get our house listed. Having bought a house previously where the estate agents slowed things down and caused many problems and errors, and having had a close call of experiencing similar for a second time, I am genuinely thrilled to have found an estate agent where the communication is clear, friendly and professional. You also feel that even though this team is busy, they still treat each customer with value regardless of the worth of your house. Thanks Crook and Blight! Also, I am not the sort of person who writes reviews very much, but this team definitely deserves a good one!

I don’t even know how to begin the awful experience that me and my partner had with them.We booked a view and after when we wanted to go to the office and proceed with the paperwork of the rental guess what? Delays because the landlord does not answer t give his approval,delays because the person in charge of the rentals is in holiday.Delays because the person that answers the phone has no idea what customer communication means! Just one random phone call from them sounded like this: Hi are you interested in one of our properties to rent? Yes! Would you like to book a viewing? We already viewed the property and we are waiting from 2 weeks ago for an answer from the landlord! Just a minute please.And she’s putting us on hold.After a few minutes someone else takes the line and she doesn’t even know why we we’re on hold! Seriously???? What is wrong with you people that work in that agency??? Just making people wait for you put them on hold on the phone delay them and stress them out to the maximum??? Do not! Like for nothing in the wold rent or buy a property that is managed by this agency !!! 0⭐️

GoogleFollowing the recent sale of my property, I'm really pleased to be able to make this five star rating. The whole process with C&B was very poliet and professional. We found great transparency with a feeling of trust. Appointment booking was initially by phone then email confirmation. Email only communication from me was always answered promptly and concise. The chap that did the pictures was a nice guy you didn't mind showing about your house. Made recommendations and did the job right first time. Five star service from all the team. Thanks guys.

GoogleCrook and Blight most definitely live up to their name! Avoid whether you are buying or selling! If I could give this agency no stars I would do. Buying a property through them was the worst experience ever. The member of staff showing us around on the first viewing, whilst polite, clearly knew nothing about the property or the area. But once we’d made an offer it was the elusive ‘George ‘ whom it quickly became apparent had no idea how to manage the sales process springing on us as we were about to exchange that the owner of the property at the top of the chain were only just making an offer on another home. We ended up having to move into temporary accommodation in order not to lose our buyer and being there two months before being able to move into our new home! The cheek of it came with ‘George’ calling one afternoon saying that he couldn’t get hold of our solicitor and why are we delaying completion?! Even once we’d exchanged their customer service was shocking and I ended up getting more assistance from the onward agent through whom I arranged key collection.

GoogleMy experience of buying my first property through Crook and Blight was second to none. They were so helpful throughout the process, from booking viewings at the beginning to sales updates through the whole process. They were more than accommodating with arranging extra viewings at the property I was purchasing and the agents showing me around were always so friendly and welcoming! Would 100% reccomend Crook and Blight and would definitely be coming back in the future!! Thanks again team!
