The team at MA have recently dealt with my elderly aunts sale and purchase and they have been professional, hard working and helpful throughout. These last few months have been particularly stressful and adding Covid to an already difficult time has not helped at all. After 54 years in a property it was not an easy move for my aunt but I am pleased to say that she is delighted with her new home. I have known Simon and his team for many years and would happily suggest they are the best Estate Agents to instruct. Simon is extremely hands on depsite owning the business and gives honest advice whilst always striving to achieve the best outcome for his clients. Simon and his staff have gone over and above to make sure things have moved forward to completion and in particular, I would like to thank Mark for his efforts. He has remained calm, polite and professional in situations that have been particulary challenging and has kept me informed at every step of the way. Morris Armitage handled the sale of my property and I could not recommend them more highly. From our first meeting with Nick during our evaluation, we knew we were in good hands. Nick was honest, helpful and responsive and ensured we had only serious viewers for our property, resulting in a sale within one week of it being on the market. Towards the end of the sale, and as part of a chain of buyers, issues with queries and solicitors made the process very stressful. Debi was an absolute godsend during this time. She was on the ball during the whole process, communicating with our buyers, our sellers and us, to get things moving along. As buyers we have been super pleased with Morris Armitage Newmarket from the start right to the end. Adam was very patient in showing us houses and fitted us in at very short notice, sometimes on the weekends. Mark was very professional, providing quick updates. At no point did we feel pressured, or have a hard sale from estate agents. A very relaxed approach which was perfect for us. On finding the right house, we mistakenly chose online solicitors who were painfully slow. Debi went above and beyond to put pressure and push the sale through before the stamp duty holiday ended. From our first meeting and all the way through the process Simon and his team were superb, great support in preparing the details, really first class photography, dedicated staff who stayed late on a Friday to get us on-line quickly all helped to get our sale off to a flying start. Once we had a buyer Simon was extremely proactive in keeping the chain informed and making sure everything was moving forward. Our sale (and purchase) had the potential to be really quite difficult with a combination of tight timescale, Covid and solicitor workloads but through sheer determination, great communication and a certain amount of creative thinking Simon steered the whole thing over the line. My previous experience of Agents has been less than underwhelming but Simon and his team have restored my faith. Great job, professionally delivered. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Not professional at all. We trusted this so called “company” to rent our property out whilst we were abroad. They or the tenants stole our table and broke the chairs. The tenants trashed our house and decided to make there own cannabis farm in our loft. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE -( haverhill branch ) Becky had work carried out whilst we weren’t aware of any problem and then billed us even though we strictly told them not to do any work until we were consulted. Awful is still to good of a word to describe this company. Unless you want your house trashed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The only good thing that they are fantastic at is taking there cut of the money. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!
