Morris Armitage have been fantastic dealing with our house purchase and sale. Mark was professional in helping us to find our new property, and gave us good advice to get our then current house on the market, gaining us a buyer within a week. Vicky and Debi were then superb in helping us through what turned out to be a very stressful sale. They kept us well informed at all stages and were a great help interpreting what solicitors were asking for. They were also excellent at reassuring our vendors about the situation, meaning our purchase didn't fall through. Overall we couldn't recommend them enough. They were professional, friendly and genuinely cared about our situation. We don't plan plan to move again soon, but they would be the first place we'd go if we were.

We both let and then sold our property via MA. Keiran and team made the letting process effortless, particularly as overseas landlords it was great knowing we could trust MA to keep the property well looked after. I was most impressed during the sale - we had some bad luck with our sale falling through after several months due to buyers having cold feet, but Debi somehow managed to find us a new buyer just 3 days later and from then we completed in under 8 weeks - throughout the whole time Debi was incredibly responsive and reassuring during what was a stressful time. Highly recommended!

My partner and I have recently just rented our first home together and we can't thank Morris Armitage enough. We'd like to give a special mention to Keiran who took the time to really figure out what we were looking for and helped us find the perfect property. Matt was also fantastic during the viewing with a very warm and welcoming personality. The ladies in the rental division were also very helpful and kind whenever we spoke to them on the phone or via email. Overall, the whole rental team went above and beyond for us. Their communication and dedication to their roles is second to none and it has been an absolute pleasure to deal with the Newmarket branch.

Reliable, responsive, excellent value for money

I recently sold my house through Morris Armitage and I would highly recommend Simon and his team. Their charges were reasonable and the whole process from start to finish was handled very efficiently, but also with a personal touch. A huge shout out to Debs who supported me through a stressful few months. We have just completed on a sale and purchase through Morris Armitage today and the service that we have received has been excellent from start to finish. Our house was valued and on the market within a few days and we had around 10 viewings, receiving 4 offers in just a couple of days of being on the market. We then found a perfect home for us, also with Morris Armitage. Unfortunately we lost our first buyer and then subsequently our second buyer through no fault of the agents, just the usual issues that arise during the buying and selling process but we found new buyers immediately each time. This is where we need to give a special mention to Debi Bond she managed to keep the chain together through excellent communication, she was calm and reassuring when we were extremely stressed. We don't plan on moving again for a while but if and when that day comes Debi will be our first port of call and would be the first person we recommend. Very poor service. Weekly update calls not received. No idea what “marketing” activity was undertaken by them in an attempt to sell my home apart from uploading it to RightMove and hoping. Gave specific, detailed feedback regarding my experience which I was told would be passed onto the directors. Needless to say they haven’t had the courtesy to respond.

We had a particularly difficult sale, very slow buyers solicitors and then at 16 weeks (first time buyers and no chain!) we were side swiped by building control issues on renovations that had taken place 30 years ago. Honest and transparent service.We had a terrible time with another agent withholding information which resulted in wasting 17 weeks on selling our empty property.We explained the situation to MA, Jamie was really helpful and informative (he knew about the area and the property, taking a genuine interest in finding out about both). Lined up buyers who were genuinely interested in our property, after a full day of viewings we had a number of offers. We accepted on their recommendation an offer, when I queried this at a later date, they gave me a full and frank breakdown of all the offers and the buyers situation, and we 100% agreed with their assessment. They ensured that the sale when through smoothly and kept us informed all the way. Can not recommend them highly enough!
