Update 13/01/2020.First of all, I must clarify that we (I and my wife) have direct experience with Johns and Co as tenant in Royal Wharf (East London). Landlords' experience may be different (or not).Pre-sales experience was quite positive (3 of 4 stars). The usual tactics of salespeople saying a much better offer was just submitted before ours helped the landlord obtaining a better price. But overall we got the property without excessive hassles, just a little overpriced and, in fairness, if anything we are to blame for having accepted to revise our offer upwards. Post-sales proved initially difficult when dealing with property agents whose attitude was prevalently dismissive and seemingly dismissing tenants as nuisance. When I was already piling up evidence to use in a small court claim, the intervention of an experienced director from their head office turned the experience from grim to great. In fact at this point my confidence in this letting agency is now high: having no hiccups at all when leasing a property is something I would not reasonably expect, however the excellent way in which our escalation of a matter which went a bit out of control was handled is entirely reassuring for the future.
