From the first move in, Wright Residential was really a very lazy agent. They will not accompany you to your new flat. Everything has to be arranged by yourself. It is impossible to complain to them on the faults of the property because the agent is not there to look at it with you. Mind you that all electrical accounts, water, etc has to be arranged by YOURSELF. They refuse to help out. Secondly, don't be deceived by the photos they show on the inventory list. They crop their photos to hide the faults of the inventory inside the property. In their inventory list, they will claim that they are not experts at taking photos but when it comes to checking out from the property, they will try their best to make sure they find all faults possible of the property even though it was already there when you first moved in. Also during the last 28 days of your tenancy, there will be a lot of viewings of the property by future tenants. I have experienced 3 times a day of people coming in and out and intruding my privacy. There was once when the agent did not even inform me that they were coming for viewing and I let them in anyway. Do not deal with cheats like them. No matter what you say or proof you have given regarding the property's faults, they will pin it on you. They are very inconsiderate and your life will be very miserable as long as Wright Residential is your agent. I must say throughout the one year experience I had in Newcastle, this experience with Wright Residential was the most dissapointing and disgusting experience ever. I have told all my friends who have moved to Newcastle to avoid Wright Residential and blacklisted them from the whole group so that they will avoid dealing with cheats like this.

We were also offered a concierge service who set up all of our bills/internet/etc before we moved in which has made everything very smooth. Really great service from start to finish- we'd be hunting for a property for a while and weren't having much luck with how competitive the market is. The alerts we got from the team at Wright Residential made all the difference and once we'd secured a place we're absolutely over the moon with, they continued to be fantastic and made everything straightforward. We've been living in a property managed by Wright Residential for the last ten years. The Chillingham road team have always been really respectful, helpful, non-intrusive and quick to resolve any issues we've had. Any maintenance problems have been addressed quickly and professionally and without hassle. Generally it's been great to know that the place has been managed by such a competent set of people.

Absolutely a terrible firm....and it's guaranteed to rip you off. I rented a supposed furnished flat through them ...and within 3 months was hospitalized....and i put it down to breathing in spores from the mould on walls behind the supplied bed headboard. I woke up most mornings in this damp flat to find snails in the kitchen....on the floors and worktops. I lasted the 6 month term of rental ...and due to the fact that the flat i rented through Wright Residential was detrimental to my health I left. I cleaned the rental for days...and when the exit inspection was carried out I was told the following: - A cleaning bill of over £100 was required ....they found a few specks of dust under a horrible table held in the property. Everything else was clean - i was charged a further £100 or so for blocking the drains...this was odd...given the owner of the flat admitted the drain blockage was due, according to the firm called out to address the problem, to fat build up in the drains from a local Chinese takeaway My bond, on leaving the flat, was docked by the above trumped up ...contrived claims.... Wright Residential is to be avoided ....i still have the pictures of the snails and mould ...will add these laterNegativeProfessionalism

Rented a 2 bed apartment from these. Paid a big deposit. Didn't really think much of it as thought I'd get it back at the end. Left the house pretty much same as first day I moved in apart from all the dirt from the rising damp throughout the house. They tried to pull a fast one to keep the deposit. If you rent from these, my advice would be to take a video of everything throughout the property on the first day. Take photos also. This will help you with the tenancy deposit scheme when they try to take your money at the end

I rented a property off Wright residential for the last 12 months during my stay in Newcastsle and i am over the moon with everything they did for me. Kerry and cathrine have both helped me out from the day i stepped foot in their shop until the day i moved out. Their customer service can't be faulted at all and their range of properties is huge!
