Incompetent or apathetic

I have spent 3 months trying to get money back due to a mathematical error in a contract they wrote. With constant issues such as arranging call backs with no follow through, ignoring emails, failing to fulfil requests for files and personal information transferred to them regarding payments. I can only say this is the most pathetic excuse for a letting agency I've seen in a while. The only saving grace of this all is my Landlord who is now having to refund us out of pocket as they still haven't received the money meant for them. This review will stay on here until the issue is resolved.

Horrific

The service from this estate agent is just shy of horrific.We went to see a property almost 8 weeks ago which is stated on their website as ‘coming soon’ we then placed an offer which took them 2 weeks to get back to us. Whilst I appreciate they may have had trouble getting in touch with the vendor it seemed they did very little to chase this.Two weeks went by and after myself and my partner chasing this every day nearly we then received an EMAIL from Jess to say the offer had been declined as the vendor is now unsure if they want to keep the property or sell it.I think staff need training on how to handle a difficult conversation and wording a decline if they think it is acceptable to send a decline over email especially when the offer was for a substantial amount. Around 6 weeks have gone by now and the property is still on their website as Coming Soon even though the vendor is still unsure of what they’re doing with the property. For a company who’s values are ‘Honest, Integrity and Commitment’ this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Poor, poor communication and service. The first property we tried to view we didn't get a response. The second property we requested a viewing online. After no response for two days we called up the office where we were informed that they hadn't received our viewing request. We were offered a slot 3 days later which we accepted. The confirmation of our booking was sent to my email address, which incidentally wasn't given over the phone so must've been on their system after all. When we turned up for the viewing information was very limited as to the property and surrounding area. We received an email the morning after our viewing informing us that we had until noon to submit best and final offer (after being told the day before that the family were in no rush). We duly submitted our offer via email. After two hours we had to call the office again to see if they'd received our offer as we received no confirmation email. The day after, we did receive an email saying that the decision wasn't going to be made by the sellers until after the weekend. On Monday afternoon we hadn't heard if our offer had been accepted so emailed them - no response. Just out of curiosity and a feeling that we had, we drove past the property and there was a 'sold' sign outside of it. No courtesy email to say that our offer hadn't been accepted. Strange that within the space of one day an offer has been accepted and a 'sold' sign erected immediately. Unprofessional company.

Selling my late father's house was never going to be easy, both from an emotional and property point of view, but AH have made the exercise effortless. Terrible estate agent DON T USE

We placed an offer on a property and asked the estate agent if the buyer would accept the offer and to cancel all other viewings and take it of the market. The offer was slightly above the asking price. I feel that the seller does not know about the offer as they are still going ahead with all viewings (6 I believe) and the estate agent is awaiting to see if another offer comes in to start a bidding war. The estate agent attitude is rude and we feel the buyer does not know about our offer. The estate agent told us until we instruct a solicitor and pay search’s all viewings will still continue but we can’t instruct solicitors until we know if the offer has been accepted. Due to this we have withdrawn our offer and went with our other property where they have accepted our offer and have cancelled all viewings. When we informed the estate agent about this they didn’t seem bothered and surprised they didn’t do more to persuade us to reconsider.
