GoogleWe sold my mother's house through Reeds Rain and were extremely happy with the service provided. I don't live locally, and so was not on hand to manage things, and the property was vacant for over six months, but they oversaw things brilliantly and were always efficient and helpful. Very highly recommended !

Particularly impressed by Dee King who was instrumental in speeding up both my sale and purchase as well as being fantastic at chasing solicitors. She also was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, cannot recommended her enough.

GoogleCan highly recommend Reeds Rains in Newcastle under Lyme for anyone wanting to sell a property (which in our case sold in less than 24 hours). Mike couldn’t have been more helpful from the initial enquiry to the completion and nothing was too much trouble for him. We were kept informed of viewings booked & had immediate feedback. Both Mike & Beth were more than happy to answer any queries we had and always returned our calls within minutes. Thank you all again.

GoogleI have represented a friend who has had to deal with a death in his family. This led to dealing with Reeds Rains who were letting agents for a property occupied by the deceased. I have dealt with Megan who has acted both sympathetically and professionally in considering the situation. I have to admit to being impressed with her empathy and also her communication skills.

GoogleGreat start, awful end. I decided to list with RR NUL following a realistic valuation (other agents advised £10k lower for a “quick sale”) and competitive fee. As I wanted to move quickly, I decided a traditional, on hand agent was less of a risk than a modern agent. How wrong I was! Despite instruction to listing taking only a few days, promotional photos being taken on a bank holiday weekend and an offer in excess of asking price, the process ended up being drawn out, inefficient and extremely one sided. RR miscommunicated, mislead and frankly ignored me. A flurry of viewings turned out to be 2, having handed over the property for an "open day" owing to suggested demand. Two "offers" turned out to be "intimated offers" only with the two supposed viewers/offers being uncontactable. Miraculously contactable and low offers received once a firm offer was in a couple of weeks later... The sale and purchase process was delayed by a month as RR advised that my purchaser could not move before a certain date and advising vice versa to said purchaser. In fact, we both wanted to move ASAP! RR claimed they did not hold my onward purchase on file, despite only listing to secure the onward purchase and therefore did not actively manage neither mine nor my purchaser's requirements. My onward purchase / vending agent ended up managing the chain and liaising with both myself, my conveyancer and my purchaser to see the sale and purchase process through to completion. Lauren Andrea, in particular was guilty of said ignorance. Having the cheek to ignore emails, voicemails and calls yet emailed almost weekly asking me to leave positive reviews on Google, ahead of her 1:1 review?!... TIP: if one does have the misfortune of listing with RR NUL, call RR NUL from a withheld or Rightmove number, they answer right away but will actively ignore you from a known number. However, had it not been for the final invoice, I would not have known that RR NUL were even aware of the sale completion. No phone calls to ask how I was doing, no offers of key exchange, nothing. Same for the purchasers who had to liaise with myself to arrange property handover. To my knowledge, no completion hamper for my purchaser, certainly not one for me, not so much as a "good luck in your new home" card, don't let the social media fool you! In conclusion, 1% wasted. I should have stuck to my gut and used a local, online only, fixed price agent with a proven track record and focus on customer service.

We achieved above the asking price, despite other agents valuing lower, came out on a bank holiday to take pictures when most other agents are closed, and listed the property within a couple of days! We cannot control how many people turn up for viewings or how long the legal process takes, once the sale has been agreed as this is in the hands of the solicitors. If you are dissatisfied with the length of time it took for the sale to complete I would suggest you take this up with your solicitor. Peter O'Brien, Branch Manager.

GoogleOur house is sold! Over the moon with the result that Matthew Burton from Newcastle under Lyme reeds rains got for us.... Just all the legalities to tie up and then we can look to move to our new family home. Matthew was a pleasure at every house viewing, really made me feel comfortable and from taking his advice from his experience in his job he went and got us over and above our expectations. Since the sale has been agreed he has constantly kept in contact letting me know the progress... If you want to sell or buy a home I would definately recommend Matthew Burton but reeds rains too as when I had to call in or phone they were always welcoming and professional. P. S Amy my house evaluator at reeds rains got the value spot on I'm one happy lady looking forward to a fabulous future with my family x

GoogleAmy from Reeds Rains in Newcastle did an absolutely fantastic job in helping me renovate my property and secure tenants, she was always keeping in touch and kept me updated. I feel she went the extra mile in helping secure the right work men to do the job and in finding tenants, many a time she went out of her way to pop to the property to check on things that really I should have done, but couldn't due to distance and other commitments. A big thank you to Amy and the rest of the team at Reeds Rains you are a great team!
