It is perhaps worth explaining that when potential tenants express interest in a property, we pass that offer onto the owner. The owner will consider all of the offers, and let us know who they'd like to take to referencing first. If, as in your case, the owner takes a little while to make a decision, all we can tell you is that we'll let you know when the owner has decided. It's not our decision. Chasing us doesn't make any difference, and each time you call we can only answer the same way "we'll let you know as soon as the owner has decided". Still, I'm sorry if you felt you were an inconvenience, and wish you luck in your search.
