GoogleScott is extremely friendly and personable. He did a wonderful job of photographing the house and I enjoyed his diligent and professional approach. I had no concerns giving him keys and he went above and beyond when he kindly offered to take in my Hello Fresh delivery and unpack into the fridge while I was away. Only minor negative was, rather than supply hardcopies of the seller pack, I had to print at home myself but Scott did make the time to come over and collect. We were lucky in that we received an acceptable offer within the first week of listing, fingers crossed all goes well now to completion!

Very disappointing experience. We made an offer on a property and proceeded in good faith, only to discover a significant issue and unable to proceed. I felt it was quite a big issue not to have clarified with the seller. That that knew or didn’t care to know.
Having read the contents of your recent review Aidan, it is disappointing to note the comments made within. I have carried out a detailed appraisal of your file as to how events transpired with the property you intended to purchase and spoken with individuals involved. Please note our internal file notes are recorded in real time as matters progress, outlining conversations by phone and email, and cannot be amended thereafter. When we secured instructions to sell the property you were purchasing, we acted in good faith, obtaining the relevant information from the seller. We had no reason to believe the detail was anything other than accurate and therefore proceeded to market the property. Whilst I can appreciate how frustrated you must have felt upon learning that you were not able to proceed with your intended purchase, this was beyond our control due to circumstances highlighted. We could not have predicted the findings of an independent property survey undertaken by a chartered surveyor. All our buyers are encouraged to gain independent surveys, and this was highlighted to you when our Director of Office addressed your complaint directly. The associated cost forms part of the risk when purchasing a property and when issues are identified, it can affect a buyer’s decision to proceed. I am sorry you could not achieve the outcome you desired but I am confident the office has acted in your best interests. Our sales team work hard to ensure they provide the best possible customer care, and they will be equally disappointed you were unable to progress with your purchase. As a landlord of a property in Upminster, I was advised by Hannah Grant that my tenants had advised they wish to vacate my property two months earlier than the 12 month term. I was happy to accept their wishes, but I was also considering about selling, plus if I decided to re let, then believed I could achieve a higher monthly rent. Hannah was fully understandable and agreed based on the current rent, higher rent should be achievable. Hannah is based in Brentwood and said she would advise the Upminster Branch Manager (Charlotte Micallef) that I would be in Upminster that day and would call in to discuss a valuation as well as possible reletting. When I met Charlotte she was up to date with what I wanted to discuss and also got Hannah on the phone who also wanted to make a couple of points. Hannah put all this in an email. The next day Hannah called from Upminster to advise my tenants wanted to stay an extra month, which was fine. Hannah was understandable of my requirements, knowledgeable of the market in terms of sales and letting. Hannah was excellent in liaising with me, my tenants, Charlotte and Havering Lettings, as Lauren Mobsby was also up to speed. Hannah was a very pleasant lady to deal with.
