After a long process of the sale going through, made lengthier from the purchase side. I was very happy with my dealings with the Horsforth branch. They kept me informed and chased things up whenever possible. Always pleasant and friendly. Ann Rimmington, Sarah Joseph and Karen Ross were my main contacts through this sale and deserve a mention. Apologies to other people not named. Too many to list. Overall very satisfied. Have used them before and would use them again.

Made the house-buying process easy and hassle-free

I used Manning Stainton to buy my first house. They were really helpful in getting my purchase completed - they communicated really well with me and made the process as quick and stress-free as possible. My move manager was superb and a huge help in making sure everything stayed on track.The only slight issue was that I was told at the house viewing that there wasn't a chain - in reality there was, however it was only 1 person and this didn't end up affecting the length of the process.

How estate agents should be

We have had a tricky time trying to re locate from North London to Leeds but Manning Stainton's Garforth team have gone above & beyond to help over the past few months.They have notified us quickly of potential properties & taken into consideration that we need to travel 300 miles to view.We have had very quick responses from Teresa and Callum to any queries and they have provided directions to viewings,local information all done with friendly professionalism.Emma is currently guiding us through buying what we hope is our new home.She has provided so much helpful information and has been upfront and realistic- this is something that other estate agents have failed to be. Garforth branch team are a simply lovely bunch of people doing their job exceptionally well.

We are very happy customers! Our challenge was to sell 2 flats and MS did it for us. Helen Taylor introduced us to an off market buyer and sold the other flat on the market, but this fell through. In a very stressful, but special week, Jess Fox secured for us a great price for the off market sale and quickly found an alternative cash buyer for the second flat! Gob-smacked!! We have been very impressed with Helen and her team, but Jess led both negotiations whilst Helen was away. Professional, responsive, efficient and great to chat with, Jess did a brilliant job: and vitally secured us 2 sales. Still a bit shocked to be honest, but very happy indeed. High praise and strongly recommended.

Jacob and the rest of the team in Oakwood have been very efficient and professional. I’ve been looking for a property and found Jacob to be friendly, provide accurate information, reply quickly to questions and manage expectations well. As a buyer you know the agents are acting for the vendor but Jacob and the team have all still shown courtesy and been very fair in all dealings. If/when I come to sell in future I would happily use this office.

Manning Stainton Pudsey dealt with both the sale of my old house and the purchase of my new home. From start to finish the service provided by the whole team but Deborah Cundill in particular was flawless. Moving home is a stressful time and my purchase was a complicated one; without the constant contact to update me, answer any questions I had and provide me with a first class service the experience would have been extremely challenging. Could do better ?

We had a difficult experience acquiring a purchase. We were hoping for a quick sale and laid everything open for this to happen. The client of Manning Stainton took five weeks to fill in a sheet if questions. We feel Manning Stainton should have impressed more on the vendor to get this completed. Also when we arrived at our purchased house there were still items in the house undeclared by the vendor and clearly not checked by Manning Stainton. There appeared to be rodent droppings in the kitchen but Manning Stainton maybe not checked the house before the sale went through. The sold sign was still standing on completion day. Staff friendly but difficult to contact at times. Last three weeks up to completion there was no contact so maybe for future agents could diary in a courtesy call. Please check properties near completion to make sure they are ready and no items left that were not on the inventory and declaration
