Fantastic Agents!

I have just used Manning Stainton Estate Agents South Leeds to find me tenants for my house in Beeston for the second time in eighteen months and am really very happy with the service they provided. Joe Thornton and Deborah Tooley were both really swift at organising viewings and arranging paperwork and I had new tenants within a few days after the previous ones left at short notice. Deborah was also very conscientious with regards to all the safety checks that are required when renting out a property which I appreciated. I will definitely use MS South Leeds again.

We can tell you truly care.Do not go near Manning Stainton to rent a house. Their lack of communication, unprofessional attitude and lack of knowledge has left us feeling frustrated and upset.They do not get back to you when someone finally answers the phone, they are rude on the phone and fob you off from one person to another.A Lettings negotiator said they had told us one thing but actually hadn’t at all then blamed us and tried to charge us. Chewing chewing gum and blowing bubbles in your face with a lack of care is very unprofessional. I will not be using this letting agent again and ourselves as tenants and the landlord included have been let down. Don’t go near them!

From the start the team at Manning…

From the start the team at Manning Stainton were all committed to helping us find our new home, and sell our existing home as quickly as possible. There were a few bumps in the road, but Gemma and Rochelle (from the move team) were absolutely excellent at resolving problems, keeping us updated, and doing everything they could to keep things on track. Sale of Dad's home

I was selling my late father's home and decided on Manning Stainton to sell the property and this was by far the best decision. Sarah was very professional and all staff kept me informed plus there was the use of the app. However this company and should l say, Lesley Alexander in particular from the move team was fantastic. What should have been a relatively straightforward sale, turned into a 7 month very long winded affair, but Lesley never failed to keep pushing to get us through the finish line. She was professional, extremely hard working, very dedicated to her job but sensitive to her clients and at times a counsellor. Whatever Lesley gets paid it's not enough.

I recently had the pleasure of working with James and his team in the Rothwell branch, to find my forever home. James and his team were not only professional but highly knowledgeable about the local market and made sure I always felt like a priority.At each step of Sale and purchase Ellie came through with her commitment to excellence and her negotiation skills were first rate. Ellie went above and beyond to ensure we were updated every step of the way. Not only did Ellie show patience but empathy through a difficult sale. As the sale progressed we were then allocated a Move Manager (Ann Rimmington) Ann was AMAZING!! She was always at the end of the phone going above and beyond to ensure the sale proceeded. Ann demonstrated patience and understanding of my situation and gave us continued support throughout the process. I would definitely recommend the team in Rothwell to anyone thinking of selling or purchasing property.However, I would strongly recommend NOT using in house Solicitors Chadwick Lawrence, if it wasn’t for Ann Move Manager the sale wouldn’t have happened!!! The lack of communication from the solicitors was so frustrating. They were so difficult to contact. Then on completion day the unnecessary stress and anxiety due to again lack of communication was totally unacceptable!! Once again on completion day the solicitors were totally unobtainable!! All I can say is thank goodness for James, Ellie and Ann.

That was nice! Great customer service. Big shout out to Charlotte P. in the Headingly branch. The only disappointment is what Manning Stainton (not Charlotte) recommend for the convenance legal firm: Levi Solicitors. Not very nice legal firm. It seems full of self-entitled professionals which have no patience with the plebs like us. If you choose other solicitors, Manning Stainton and Charlotte are great. Highly recommended.

A dream

The most natural and responsive estate agent I have ever dealt with. From the viewing day to completion day I never once felt frustrated, only ever assured. I have been so stressed these past weeks looking for a place, as needed to be out by a fixed date. The team at South Leeds Letting (managed by Deborah Tooley) have been exactly what I needed; over the weeks the kept their promises, called or emailed when they said they would, were alway courteous and professional, told me where I stood so I could make an informed decision.Evie in the office was always pleasure to talk to. Hannah showed me around two properties, a delight to spend time with, and no hard sell. When I found the property that ticked all the boxes, Deborah and the team explained exactly what was needed and when, to ensure that things moved very quickly in my favour. I've gone from having no hope to having a home within three days. A huge weight has been lifted. Dishonest pricing, hidden fees and poor communication!

They seem to be a nice team...but very very sneaky with fees. The prices are very high for managed rental. If they can add a fee for anything they seem to do so. After the regular full managed fee of around 10%, the 450 pound finders fee..they then even charge an additionally 2% fee for sending your statement to you! (this is included at all other agencies i worked with). This will make your fees creep towards 20%. So at the end of the month, with add-ons you are lucky to get anything at all! The charging fees are very dishonest and new things pop up every month.
