I want to say a massive thanks to Niamh Hanley at the Oakwood branch who supported with the sale of my property. For someone who hasn’t dealt with estate agents, she made the process really easy for me. Niamh arranged open days for viewings of my property and kept me up to date with the offers and position of the people interested as well as any feedback from the potential buyers. Niamh was polite, professional and really patient whilst I searched for a property to ensure there was a complete chain before passing me to the move team. Niamh went above and beyond by contacting the vendor of the property I was purchasing due to some complexities in the information being given. Thanks again Niamh!

The person buying a property is just as important as someone selling their property

I felt treated like someone on a conveyer belt, not important, like buying a pair of shoes online for 310k (over a quarter million). There was no meeting, no working relationship and no understanding of my needs. The price reduction was due to the home buyer survery, nothing to do with the property negotiator. They could have been more transparent about the electrical rewiring needed for the property adn also the gas situation to make it safe before moving in. The property was unclean. The oven, grill, extractor fan, pantry area, kitchen cupboards and draws were in a disgusting state. Estate Agents should set minimum standards selling properties where possible. The vendor should have paid to have the property professionally cleaned and I know this could have been done. This property was not in a 'moving in' condition when it could have easily been avoided. I would not recommend anyone doing business with MS.

Helpful, positive and very supportive

Excellent service from the Beeston

Excellent service from the Beeston, Leeds office. Dan the branch manager and his excellent team did a superb job of selling my house during a difficult market. Special mention to Julie and Zaini Miraj for their assistance with some difficulties that arose during the transaction. I'm not the easiest person to deal with following a head injury a few years ago but the team showed patience and understanding throughout. This is the 3rd house that the Manning Stainton, Beeston, Leeds team have sold for my family all with super results.

My son saw a house he liked on Rightmove, so because of his work commitments, I agreed to help him sort it. It is 40years since his dad and I bought our house! Laura has been really helpful, talking us through the process, arranged a prompt viewing and when our son wanted to make an offer was very clear and helpful about what was needed, briefing her colleagues so they were able to assist when she was not going to around for a couple of days. She has now handed us on to her colleague to see us through the next stage. So far she has ensured that a potentially fraught process has progressed very smoothly

Not as good as the first time around

I used Manning Stainton in 2022 for the sale of a property which went well so I decided to use them an for the sale of a flat I owned. Jodie was very friendly and knowledgeable but the initial photographs were poor and in one case the photograph of the car parking space wasn't even my space. The wording for the advert was terrible grammatically and the spelling was incorrect in some cases. I found phone calls from the move managers annoying sometimes especially when I was being asked to chase my solicitors as I would have thought this was something they would do.

I am Mr.Ho Tai Yeung who is the first buyer of 28 Birch Crescent LS15 7SU.I pulled out the offer mainly because the sale takes too long.First ,the branch staff Joanne Williams and Natalie Adkins is quite good and keep informing me of the progress and do take good balance of interest between sellers and buyers ,this is a point to credit.However,the sale is really too slow.My offer is accepted in Dec 2022 and the sellers solicitors have ZERO response and progress,until FEB i was informed the sellers passed away.No legal pack or even courtesy email was sent to my solicitors and is unprofessional.This property is a empty,no chain,no tenant inside and i am a cash buyer.For this nature of sales,it usually takes within 3 months to complete.The another properties that i buy from Your Move James Baratt (also a probate property)only takes 1.5 months to complete and properties of similar background completes within 4 months,what a great contrast.Even on the website they also boasted most of their sale complete within 12 weeks.I am unhappy they cant grasp the timing to complete before the sellers passed away.Another point is that even after the probate was granted in mid July 2023.The sellers solicitors didnt send any document and Manning Stainton make up quite a lot of excuse eg.client letter not prepared yet and i feel Manning Stainton is not ambitious in helping both side to complete the sale smoothly .It does not only waste my time but also waste seller's money in paying for bills for a property that is extra for them.Having no progress at all,i have no choice but to pull out.More than that,I found out this agent is not good at marketing.I only know the boilers is 2 years old and the sellers have been in loved with the house for 35 years after viewing.However,they should have listed out this point on the market to attract more potential buyers.However ,they didnt and this may miss a lot of potential buyers.Now i seen the property is SSTC again and i wished the sellers can complete the sale smoothly this time.editted: I do appreciate the customer service of Joanne and Natalie but the sale should have proceed quicker as similar probate sales from your move only takes 1.5 months but yours take more than 9 months and sellers solicitors recommended by ms do nothing at allwhich let me down.

The listing, viewing and sale process managed by Jessica was excellent. Jessica was very understanding of our position and was friendly, informative and always happy to assist. Incredible customer service from start to finish

We just bought our first house listed by Manning Stainton and we had an unbelievably smooth experience. This was hugely down to Charlotte who helped us every step of the way. She was incredibly friendly and quick to respond to all our weird and wonderful questions.
