Refreshing service

From the valuation, to taking photos, to booking in viewings and the sale of my house (it took only 3 weeks to find a buyer!), all the staff at manning Stainton Morley have been nothing but helpful and on the ball. It’s refreshing to get such a positive experience from an estate agent during a time that is extremely stressful for many. Reading through previous reviews it may come as no surprise to hear that Chloe has been fantastic throughout the process, nothing is too much trouble and her communication is excellent, not to mention her willingness to help and keeping you informed about the process. Our move manager, Lauren Moore, was so helpful, kept us updated throughout and had such amazing communication. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she genuinely went above and beyond to help us whenever we needed it. She was always quick to respond, reassuring when things got a little stressful, and made sure we always knew what was going on. Our experience with Manning Stainton as a whole has been fantastic. All of the team who have worked on the sale of my property have been outstanding from start to finish. I was kept up to date with viewings, feedback and any queries I had were answered quickly and thoroughly. Emails were responded to usually the same day and if not, certainly within 24 hours. Special mention to Dale, who was exceptional, getting in contact regularly to check in and discuss the progress before handing over to Joanne Williams who managed the move, also exceptional. Joanne kept in regular contact and I never had to pester for information. Phenomenal service from everyone involved and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

I had a really positive experience with Izzy Denton and Annabel Fould at the Adel office. They were extremely helpful, accommodating and responsive throughout the whole process. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always happy to answer questions, provide weekly progress updates and work around our needs. Their friendly and professional approach made everything much easier. Our sale is still ongoing and the process is always stressful, however Izzy popped over for a personal visit midway through which was a reassuring touch. Start of tenancy: We are new tenants with Manning Stainton. We had mainly dealt with Jan during the viewings, Kimberley/John during the referencing process and Kay during the key collection. I found Jan to be very lovely and friendly during ALL our viewings with Manning Stainton. She was very accommodating and even made us laugh! Kimberley and John were really helpful, clear & prompt with their responses during the referencing process; which made made me feel at ease. Five stars! During tenancy: We have been living at the flat for almost 3 years. We have ongoing maintenance issues not sorted, they arrange irregular inspections, they initially screwed up registering our deposits and the property managers who were supposed to care for us during this time have horrific terrible communication between them so far. End of tenancy: The landlord had tried to take my whole deposit for damages in my flat when I decided to leave. Being lucky enough to have experience with the DPS system and having evidence (photos & videos) sent to the managing agent & DPS of all the repairs that had not been sorted throughout my tenancy, I had fought my case against this and had managed to get back 2/3 of my deposit. Given I had tenanted the flat for 5-6 years there were naturally some damages which I put some of my own money towards from the deposit. Overall, manning Stainton weren’t good at looking after the flat in general. Poor communication with the tenant and amongst themselves, also not efficient enough when carrying out any repairs to the flat.

Great Proactive Approach

Completely stress free selling experience from Manning Stainton, they supported on everything from advising on furniture layouts for how to make photos look the best to hosting viewings while I worked away and chasing everyone up and keeping me updated through the selling process. Property was sold subject to contract in less than two weeks by Jacob at the Garforth Branch then Charlotte Poutney sorted everything from there. They are happy to communicate on the phone or by Email so kept me up to date while I worked abroad. Helped find a solicitor and moving company. All completely stress free. I used Manning's based on recommendations from several friends and will recommend them to everyone else in the future.
