Just exchanged contracts

I have just exchanged contracts on the sale of my house thanks to James and his team at White & Sons. The initial process to get my house listed took a couple of weeks with getting the EPC certification and professional photographs prior to producing the house brochure. However, it was all worth it as James and his team managed to obtain an acceptable offer just four days after the listing went live.Throughout the process, leading to contracts, James and his team have been thoroughly professional. They handled the viewings, made themselves available to helpfully answer the questions I have had and kept me informed of progress.I would recommend this estate agency. Thank you James and team.

My family recently purchased a retirement property for my 87yr old father though White & Sons, Reigate. The agent who looked after us throughout was Kieran Taylor & he was brilliant. Altogether we needed c. 4-5 viewings to check details & measurements etc & Kieran was a great help & good-natured during every viewing - even being extra-helpful & holding the end of the measuring tape when necessary. We purchased our first family home 25+ yrs ago through White & Sons, Reigate & they were professional, knowledgeable & 100% client-focused each time. Extremely pleased with the service received from White & Sons’ team in Leatherhead, particularly James and Stephanie who were very supportive in helping us to find a buy-to-let property. We have been using White and Sons since November 2015 and have dealt with Justin Theobald and Rebecca Foster in that time. Both have been extremely helpful and very knowledgeable with any problems within the estate. They're very pro active with dealing with any issues from tree surveys and maintenance to lighting and replacing loose paving slabs and finding the best suppliers for the estate .. ranging from the Gardiner to the insurance required.They're also good with sorting the accounts out for the estate as well as the service charge for the residents. We have them chair our AGM and the professional manner with which they handle it is excellent. Both Justin and Rebecca are very easy to approach with any sort of problem and are very discreet with some of the more sensitive issues faced.

I have a rental property which has been fully managed by White & Sons at Dorking for about 2.5 years after changing from an unsatisfactory agent. The difference is clear, White and Sons are a league above! Everybody I deal with is super-helpful, they just can't do enough to make my experience as smooth and easy as possible, while offering advice and expertise when needed. I just can't praise the team highly enough. In particular, Nicky has been phenomenal in helping me to source contractors to have my property spruced up between tenants. It was a very long process for us to buy our house. We placed an offer that was accepted around 8 months ago, and we only just exchanged due to the length of the chain but also a lot of failings from our own solicitors and the sellers solicitors. James Richards from White and Sons Horley was the only person during this experience who offered clarity. He was always clear, to the point, honest and understanding as to how stressed we were that we were close to losing this house. He always responded to emails promptly, got back to us over the phone as soon as he could and I always felt listened to and that I had made progress after touching base with him. I believe we potentially would have not exchanged on the property and lost the house if it wasn’t for James intervening with our solicitors, advising us what to do and bridging the communication gaps between the solicitors. White & Sons Dorking office were asked if they would take over the running of our block management. Justin personally handled the change over & visited site to meet directors to get a full understanding of the contract requirements, which was just the reassurance we needed. Jamie has been our block manager since before covid & his knowledge, service & commitment to our community is simply outstanding. He has helped us with tricky situations, legal knowledge on top of the routine requirements of the running of our small contract/community. Sold our house for £5k over asking price before it had even formally been put on the market. Had a tumultuous buying process as 2 purchases fell through. White & Sons were superb at ensuring our buyers stayed in the chain and assuaging their understandable concerns. Always responded promptly to communications, never had to chase. I have had my gripes with a fair few estate agents and have seen some practices and attitudes that I regard as highly questionable. White & Sons are one of the good guys.
