Nicki was with us all the way through the sale process and was of invaluable support when things got "interesting". Alan is an absolute gentleman and very very patient! Jackson Stops sold our house for us recently. Jon and Yvonne in the Norwich office were very professional and helped us through 3 aborted sales. (No fault on their side, the market just cooled off) They stuck to their task and we achieved our sale the following month which has allowed us to build our forever home in North Norfolk. Absolutely appalling sales experience

Absolutely appalling sales experience. From being told that the buyers were cash buyers to then being told they didn't have the deposit. No fact checking had been carried out and we were led along for months without regular updates and the agent side stepping and avoiding calls only to find out the sale had fallen through and Jackson-Stops were aware but hadn't even bothered to update us! Absolutely no follow through.

I would highly recommend Jackson-Stops as an Estate Agent in the Reigate and surrounding areas.From the first initial meeting at our property to the final phone call following completion, Jackson-Stops were very professional and efficient. Everyone involved knew exactly where we were during the sales process, this reduced the stress of selling and purchasing a house. The success to buying a property involves all stakeholders working together to achieve the right outcome. Jackson Stops, and in particular our agent Chris, made sure that this took place. Avoid like the plague !

We've just had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with this supposedly high end company. We invited the Northampton office to visit us with a view to marketing a high value rural property. After a very successful and pleasant visit we waited for our Marketing Appraisal , and we waited. The other 2 companies we invited to visit both responded with reports inside of a week. Now, precisely a month later we are still waiting on a report from JacksonStops! To add insult to injury, both my brother and I rang the gentlemen concerned and were assured our report was in progress. On my final call I was assured it would be me the next day by noon! I was assured he still wanted my custom and he was full of apologies for the delay. Yet still, we have no appraisal! This is not the way a professional company should treat a prospective client. Avoid the Northampton office, if not the whole company.

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the team in Dorking and the professional and efficient way they managed the sale of our house. All the team we had dealings with were very personable and ensured the process ran as smoothly as possible, showing great understanding when we did hit a hiccup or two. The start point of our relationship was getting a realistic valuation for the property I wished to sell as Executor for a deceased Aunt. Other agents indicated a higher value than did Alan King but I have found out the hard way before that there is no point in pitching the sale price of a house unrealistically high. I chose Jackson-Stops as Agents because they seemed to have more fire in their bellies than was apparent in some of their competitors. It was not a decision I regretted. The flow of information and advice was of the best quality, so I knew of each viewing beforehand and received useful feedback afterwards. I also received a weekly summary of all web activity. Once we had an interested buyer there were certain bureaucratic hurdles to overcome but Chris Fairclough was helpful and patient in dealing with these so that we were able to conclude a satisfactory sale. I have no hesitation in commending Jackson-Stops. Indeed, if ever I decide to sell my own home they would now be my first choice estate agent.

We didn’t have the easiest of house moves but the team went above and beyond at every point to ensure the process was as smooth and stress free as possible. From our first meeting with him at a different property, George Hill built immediate rapport with us which led to our accepting his recommendation on a property we wouldn’t of initially considered; which we ultimately bought! Thereafter George has consistently gone way above what I would expect from an estate agent to truly orchestrate the whole sale. George has worked with me on a weekly basis to chase solicitors and buyers up and down the whole chain to bring our purchase to close. His advice has been proactive and comprehensive and made a palpable difference to the whole chain. In our eyes he is worth at least another percent on your fee. Would 100% recommend Jackson Stops in Dorking to any of our friends. They valued our house in Betchworth accurately and it sold within a week which then sadly fell through but then again within ten days. All of the staff we came into contact with were lovely. Initially we dealt with Chris Fairclough and Corinne and towards the end mainly with Nicki Perrin who was professional, always called back and so patient with all my questions - kept us calm in the stressful bits of moving house. In fact once we had moved she and our buyer both came over for tea we all got on so well! Thank you all.
