Our Viewings were arranged by Janet Coulson at the Leatherhead branch and she has been an absolute pleasure to work with! she went beyond the call of duty to ensure a smooth transaction right from the viewing to the sale point. Thank you also to Rachel , who was always so helpful over the phone taking messages and giving us an update where Janet was not available. GoogleAMAZING! Can’t recommend these guys enough, Matt and his team are so helpful and lovely. We have sold and bought through them recently and I’m really going to miss them all! They have gone above and beyond to ensure it all went smoothly. So honest, helpful and found us a lovely property when our previous had fallen through with another agent. We haven’t always had this experience with estate agents and I have to say they are the best around. Can’t recommend them enough.

GoogleSimon Murray was our mortgage broker on our recent purchase. He was fantastic - clear advice and meetings at times to suit us and held our hands throughout the process. He pushed the purchase forward for us and we didn’t have to worry about that aspect of the purchase at all. We felt very relieved to have him on our side and would recommend.

I find it almost laughable how this letting agency behaves. When you’re signing a contract, they bend over backwards to act friendly and helpful, but the second you’re moving out, the entire façade collapses. Their true colors show, and suddenly you’re dealing with rudeness, attitude, and a complete lack of basic professionalism. My experience with this agency at the end of my tenancy was extremely negative, and one staff member in particular, Freya, made the situation even worse. In my opinion, she spoke to me with absolutely no respect and seemed to think that talking to tenants in a dismissive, condescending manner was acceptable. From my interaction with her, it’s clear she has a lot to learn about how to communicate professionally. Some of the comments she made were completely unnecessary, and honestly, she would benefit from learning when it’s better to keep certain remarks to herself rather than speaking to people the way she did. This kind of attitude is unacceptable in any customer-facing role, and I strongly believe she needs proper customer service training. My overall impression is that she is not equipped to speak with tenants in a respectful or professional way, and that absolutely needs to be addressed. No member of staff has the right to speak to me the way she did. Because of this, I will be taking this complaint further through the appropriate channels, and I will be sharing my experience publicly so other tenants are aware of how they may be treated. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, and I refuse to let it go unaddressed.

These agents in Basingstoke pressured me into making a holding deposit after seeing a property that I was interested in. I provided all the details for reference checks. They later came back telling me that my employers declined giving a reference until my probation is ended which is no fault of mine. I have contacted my employers personally on more than one occasion to get this sorted out, but was not successful. This agency contacted me requesting for a guarantor and as a foreigner, I could not provide the needed guarantor (UK home owner with £44k annual salary). The next few hours, the property was back on the market without saying anything to me about my holding deposit. When I contacted them, they told me I have provided false and misleading information (failed reference checks) which was very shocking to me. Avoid them at all cost.

I cannot thank Emily (head of lettings, Farnham office) enough for finding me new tenants after poor experience with previous agent (a completely different company.) She achieved a 35% increase in gross rent for me, too! I noted more proactivity in 3 weeks from GPees than in 3 years from their predecessors. I was kept fully informed before and after every viewing, and despite most viewings taking place in appalling wet weather there was never a sign of recent footfall across the brand new carpet. If I could give them six stars, I would!

Amazing experience from start to finish! The property was online within a couple of days of Zoe's initial visit, viewings were booked quickly but with consideration of our schedule - with Kim helping us at all stages of the sale too. Janene was also extremely helpful in chasing all parts of our chain to ensure we completed as fast as possible, keeping everyone up to date with the process. Ed was also really helpful and guided us through all of the paperwork, answering any questions we had with as much detail as possible to help us make the right decision for us. All in all we would definitely recommend the team at Chessington - we can't thank them enough for all of their hard work and perseverance!

Right from the start we felt comfortable, the team were really friendly and knowledgeable. Jim Gordon in particular was very helpful and great to talk to, we couldn't have done it without him. The photographer took stunning photos which really showed off the features of the house. We decided to go with an open day, which was fully booked within 24 hours of advertising.Of those who veiwed the house, more than half put in offers. The team did an excellent job of keeping us informed and guiding us through the process.The house was SSTC within a week.We had issues with the solicitors, Jim went above and beyond to help keep momentum to see us through to completion.The fees were reasonable and competitive, especially given the level of service we recieved.Overall, the Gascoigne-Pees Sales Team really do believe that fostering good relationships with their clients is the key to success, making the time and effort to put them first, keep them at ease during one of the most stressful processes, and always giving the best advice.

I don’t even know which branch I’m with but they’ve charged me £50 for the privilege of changing the date I pay my rent as there has been a company take over at work and will now receive my pay on a different date! Oh, they did try to charge £60 until I mentioned the Tenants Fees act of 2019 which states that it is illegal to charge more than £50 to make a date change! Their excuse was they miscalculated the tax!!!! Ffs! I actually can’t even be bothered to try and explain how else they’ve been awful and stupidly hard to get a hold of. Avoid!!!!!

GoogleAfter using Gascoigne-Pees three years ago, who concluded a successful sale for us, I decided to use them again on behalf of my Mother. I was not disappointed - they took care of all the viewings (thank you Janet), and kept in contact all the way through to a successful sale. I would definitely recommend them, and would have no hesitation in using them again.
