We were on the market with another estate agent for 8 months and it was an awful horrible experience and decided to swap. Paul and Luke proved very quickly that they were the right people for the job and were amazing. Super professional, really lovely, honest and helpful throughout. We had numerous viewings and were sold within days. A complicated process afterwards was handled brilliantly by them both and they were always at the end of the phone offering advice and sorting things out for me. Luke even gave me an emergency round trip lift to sort a last minute money transfer out when I was in a pickle. I have been renting through this letting agent for almost 2 years now and it has been an amazing experience so far. The property manager Nathaniel Allibone has always being prompt with reported issues and recently made sure that an urgent repair issue was completed on time. .They take maintenance repair issues serious and are reliable to get quality services. Avoid!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I would never rent from this or any other associated companies ever again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The experience I had from the time my tenancy ended until I had my deposit partially returned was nothing short of farcical. Their lack of communication and unwillingness to help or address any of my concerns made the process of moving significantly more stressful than it needed to be. They were far more interested in money, they have no desire to provide a decent service for their tenants. I ended up losing a portion of my deposit for which was completely unnecessary cleaning purely due to the fact that I was given the run around from the day I moved out. Had I not reluctantly agreed this saga would still be ongoing and I wouldn't have had any of my money returned. They repeatedly lied about the reason for a sudden increase in this pricing, refused point blank to provide an invoice, refused to listen to any concerns I had and effectively refused to discuss anything until I threatened to seek legal advice. Only then did I receive a phone call. This person was unable give any reason or address any of my concerns, and could not tell me why I was unable to have any sort of invoice. They also lied that the landlord had contacted me when he had not. Even after agreeing to pay these (illegal) cleaning fees just so I could be done with the whole situation it still took a further email and telephone call to have my money returned. Absolute joke of an agency. Avoid at all costs. If you do happen to rent with them take photographs of everything because they will use any excuse under the sun to keep your money.

If I could, I wouldn't give even one star. The agency/agent worked on behalf of one of owners, helping to delay and stalling the sales process for one owners benefit. And personal gain, as recieving money for this from said owner. Often not replying, selective replies, replying with delays once recieve instructions from other owner.

Where do I start? Dreadful people.

Where do I start? I rented an apartment from the Bedminster branch, and it was an unbelievably awful experience from beginning to end. They lied about the opening inventory, there was no hot water or heating for most of the tenancy period (and they literally couldn't even be bothered to reply, let alone sort the problems out), they lied about damage caused when I left (which I did not cause), and now they refuse to communicate with me regarding the return of my deposit. Needless to say they are also withholding my deposit with no legitimate reason whatsoever. It would be really difficult to find a worse company to deal with. They treated me shockingly badly, lied through their teeth, and are trying to steal my deposit. Just awful. Avoid at all costs. UPDATE: 3 months later, I opened a dispute with Taylors via MyDeposits and submitted my honest evidence to counteract their lies and today received the deposit refund in full. Keep evidence of everything Taylors tell you (they WILL lie later on), take photos of everything, take videos of everything..... eventually, you will get your money back from these rogues (as long as you are being honest).

oxford - Absolutely useless and infuriating

Absolutely useless and infuriating - they feed you empty promises and lies constantly saying they have done what you asked and then you realise they actually never did - over and over again rinse and repeat - they will NEVER respond to your issues with the house you rented unless it is an emergency that will damage the house never mind that it is a risk to your health unless you literally ring them up every day multiple times for 2 whole infuriating months and then eventually maybe they will do something after you say you will put in a formal complaint but not after they tried to gaslight you first saying nothing is wrong

This is the most incompetent and unethical agent I have ever dealt with - after 3 months I still have not received my deposit back and they sent a million pictures of “dirt” from a room I never rented… no response when I said this was not my room… no sign of my money. If any problems with the house they will not respond either when I was renting. Terrible

Do not let/ sell with this company absolute joke. They have let a property next to me. They hired a gardener who destroyed the boundary between houses, have been chasing them for weeks to have it fixed only to be told I need to chase the gardener They hired. The ignore every email. Also left there tenants with young children without water in the property for days. Rude staff.

I have never dealt with such an unprofessional, rude and ultimately useless company! If you trust this bunch of morons to sell/ lease your house you need to have you head examined, trust me you would be better doing it yourself... They offer poor advice with little guidance, they are lazy and unresponsive but worst of all they are rude and unprofessional - what more would you desire from someone who is meant to be assisting you with probably the biggest purchase/ most stressful thing you can do in life. Do not rent from these people. They are an absolute nightmare. From day one they will extort any fee from you they can and when you leave the property they will continue to extort from your deposit. I have been renting in Oxfordshire for 30 years and they are the worst I have experienced. The property management is a nightmare. It took them over six months to fix a leak in the bathroom by which time the water damage was extensive. They do not acknowledge any improvements you make to the property. I fixed a wobbling doorstep, repainted the front door, garage door, and window surrounds as well as the fascia, at my own personal expense, but they extorted £280 from my deposit for some scuffed paintwork and minor damage to a carpet which hadn't had any work done to it despite annual intrusive inspections. They said they would try to keep us as sitting tenants by seeking investors to sell the property to, but absolutely no attempt was made to do this. So pleased to be finally rid of them. Absolute nightmare company.
