Dear Mr Thomas, Thank you for your review. Whilst I understand that you are not a direct client of Northwood MK Ltd and have no contractual relationship with the business, my colleagues have confirmed that your partner recently vacated one of our managed properties. They have also shared some photographs of the condition in which the property was left so I can only assume that your review is in relation to the retention of the deposit for a property. To clarify, this sum was retained to cover extensive damage / dilapidations and the costs incurred by the landlord will be significantly more than the deposit sum. This does not constitute theft! Your review will reassure landlords that we act in their best interests to ensure that deposits are managed appropriately. When damage is caused, we will recover deposit funds as required. As the deposit was protected in a deposit protection scheme, your partner would have had every opportunity to dispute the repayment. If the deposit sum was claimed without justification and evidence, the claim would have been rejected. That aside, we wish you all the best in your new home.

GoogleI rent a property through northwood and I have nothing but problems and bad service. Very disappointing.
