She was fantastic such a friendly person who dealt with all the application and our enquires professionally and efficiently If any of my friends and family wanted to rent through Northwood then I would highly recommend they dealt with Catherine

GoogleCatherine was amazing when me and my partner were looking for a place to rent and even when we had to move out she was amazing and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she would answer any questions that came her way (there were many) I would recommend Catherine & Northwood to anyone looking to rent!!

Direct reviewsI'm absolutely impressed with Amanda and the other staff.i have been a tenant for 12 years and have never had a problem.they are always helpful and if I have any concerns I go through Amanda in other words she's my rock who listens when she doesn't really have to.i would recommend Northwood all day long

GoogleNorthwood went downhill fast after Neil, their best sales manager left the company. The company director and staffs are incomplete and arrogant. They do not help to collect rent, process check out or chasing arrears. They don’t even know tenants have moved out after months. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Our leadership team has remained unchanged for many years now and our sales staff have never had any involvement in the operational management of property, which your concerns relate to. Unfortunately, there are times where we are unable to accede to every request and it is extremely disappointing when this is misconstrued as arrogance or incompetence. We do not always agree with our clients, this is only natural and an aspect of good, ethical management. There are occasions where requests are made which we simply cannot fulfil and when such requests involve deposits, which are held in a government backed scheme, with repayment processes which we cannot influence or change, regrettably, our hands are tied. Chasing arrears throughout the pandemic has been extremely challenging but something that we have worked tirelessly on with very positive outcomes. Our advice to work with your tenant in order to recover the arrears drove a significant reduction in the arrears balance. Given the circumstances and financial difficulties faced by so many tenants at present, the minimal arrears owed following the tenant's departure, which was covered entirely by the deposit held, is a positive outcome. One that many landlords would relish in the current climate. Regrettably, the delays in the deposit repayment process, which I understand is what has driven this unfortunate review, are entirely out of our control. Sadly, this is another consequence of the challenges that we face due to Covid. I would urge you to submit a formal complaint in order for your claims to be properly investigated. We take pride in the service that we offer and will respond favourably to any complaint that highlights a failing on our part, following a full, thorough, investigation. In the meantime, we will continue to work with you to conclude this matter.

GoogleI was a tenant in a property managed by Northwood and it was an awful experience. Very poor communication. Did not respond when I reported damp and mold in the property multiple times. Staff were very rude when I was not available on the day they had arranged delivery of a washing machine without asking me. Finally they have withheld part of my deposit to fix items I did not break. I would avoid using Northwood at all costs!

GoogleWARNING ***Do Not Use These Unscrupulous Agents*** I urge anybody considering using Northwood to run a mile!! I rented with Northwood for nearly 6 years. Throughout the tenancy they were completely incompetent. Terrible communication, not fixing and resolving repairs in a reasonable timeframe or not at all, and just unprofessional in all aspects of a letting agent. I decorated the property we rented myself to a high standard, because they were unwilling (see above). I spent my money and time doing this. When we moved into the property it was absolutely filthy. The landlord decided to sell the property this year (Probably because we had decorated it and it looked so nice). Luckily enough we were buying our first property anyway. When we vacated the property, we made sure to leave it in good condition throughout, however, Northwood tried to take 95% of our deposit for unjustifiable reasons. Thankfully our money was protected by the DPS and luckily they went with the FACTS and evidence I provided and not Northwoods erroneous and incompetent effort to steal our money. So please, trust me when I say, avoid these swindlers, there are far more capable letting agents out there.

GoogleI am a Landlord and over the years Northwood have looked after\managed a number of properties for me. I can honestly say that I have always had a good experience when dealing with the various team members. I have been particularly impressed lately with Vasty and the way she has dealt with my property maintenance issues. She is always polite and gets my issues sorted out really quickly, politely and honestly. GoogleBunch of cheaters. If you don't like your money then pay them deposit and forget your deposit. I rented a property and send them all the pictures at check in with the issues. But wait, when I left the property they charged me with the issues I already mentioned while moving in. I showed them the moving in form with all the photos but they still tried to deduct my money. Better avoid.
