The team were present at every viewing keeping us updated with feedback. Awful customer service!!! We took time off work and viewed a property, upon entering the property the young lady simply just said hello and have a look around that was all... didn't provide any information about the house or area. although sometimes it is nice to be left to look around, this felt like there was no interest from the estate agent at all and a real lack of care. When we did ask questions the responses were short and blunt. Upon expressing our interest for the house, she informed all offers had to be made by the end of the week and that it was best and final offers only... We then called back the following day to make an offer to find out they had accepted an offer the day we viewed the property and we were not informed. We were also told that we would not of actually been able to make an offer in the first place as we hadn't yet sold our property, despite the fact we have a mortgage in principle for more than the amount that was not dependant on any equity or profit from our home. we had an initial call where our circumstances were discussed prior to viewing but we were not informed of this even after expressing that we would like to make and offer post viewing at the end of the call.poor customer service, especially for houses that are nearly 3/4 of a millions pounds.

Not great.At first, the service seemed promising, but the relentless pressure became unbearable, four calls and four emails a day at one point. Once payment was made, communication dropped entirely.The team was rude and showed little regard for customer service, highlighting their need for training. They treated basic tasks as burdens and expected praise for doing their job.Overall, it was a frustrating experience. Avoid if you can.

Try calling and after 20 mins got through to a call centre who said that they will get the customer service team to call me back. Wasted 50 miles of my time driving there and back. Bedford branch: made an apt to view a property- agent didn't turn up.Rang their office while I was there- the girl said "it's not in the diary" despite me having confirmation & reminder. Two hours later got a text saying "how did the viewing go". I replied " you didn't turn up" & expected someone will ring me next day & apologise...nobody did. Rang the office to rearrange- no apology from the man but instead suspecting that I'm probably lying but just saying "i will make some enquiries & come back to you". Just before closing time, the girl who arranged the apt rang me & said she is returning my call but doesn't apologise for not turning up. So I ask & she admits that something went wrong at their end, but doesn't talk much except try to rearrange. So I book it for the next day at 2pm & like the first time, I again arrived 2mins early. After nobody shows up the SECOND TIME, I rang them at 2.05pm, another lady says "it's not in the diary" but put me on hold to ask a colleague & then said they tried to ring me to rearrange but I told her I don't have a missed call. Total lie as I checked again... no missed call from anyone! I just couldn't believe that an agent could be that hopeless- never happened in 40 years I have been buying/ selling property!!! She offered to make another apt but I declined... never going to view anything through them again, so be aware of putting your property on the market with this hopeless agent.

I had a worst experience with this agency. We moved into a house which was not at all cleaned. They did the inventory with all the dirty marks everywhere and still didn't bother to clean the house. Also usually we get the inventory checkin report before moving into the property. They sent us the inventory report after 5 days from the move in date. The house was so dirty and it took almost 4 hours of continuous effort for me to clean just the kitchen. I have never seen any agency like this who intentionally troubles their tenants to save some money. I would not recommend this to anyone. Please don’t buy or rent from this agency if you want a smooth and peaceful experience.

I wanted to share the extremely poor service I received last year from this estate agent. MG did facilitate the sale of my home but the service level was very poor after a sale was agreed. I have bore in mind COVID and staff being furloughed but there is only so many allowances you can make when they charge so much!! The amount charged does not in anyway reflect the service level my buyer and I received. It would take to long to itemise everything that went wrong but suffice as to say neither party will ever use this company again or recommend it. A complaint was made but the response from the company was they felt their service levels were good enough!!. There is a ongoing complaint going through to the Ombudsman.
