Initial sales pitch was promising, which lead us to believe that Connells would be competent and trustworthy. What lay ahead was Rude arrogant staff who lied too us , no apologies or recognition of responsibility and sarcasm on phone calls.

GoogleTold them my budget and Shakeel proceeded to try and get me booked in for viewings that were way over that budget. Took days to respond to basic emails. And when i asked for the info on service charges for a flat i wanted to view, didnt even have that info to give. Completely useless

GoogleRecently arranged a viewing of a property, everything was confirmed time and date all agreed. After driving for an hour I arrived for the viewing on time with no member of staff there to meet me. Various calls to the office to see if someone was attending went unanswered, a complete waste of my time. An e-mail I sent to stress my displeasure of the service I had received also went unanswered. We were asked to quote them for some windows in the NG2 area of Nottingham, we agreed a price, I informed them that we needed a contract signing and a deposit paying, I was asked to send the paperwork to a totally different email address, it was a maintenance companies email, we then received a call from a finance company asking if they could buy the windows directly from our suppliers, this immediately rang alarm bells, so I informed them that we would no longer carry on with the work, we then received a 1-star review on here, awful to deal with, phone calls to my mobile at 9pm, constantly messaging on whattsapp, I genuinely believe that we have had a lucky escape.

I am writing this review out of sheer frustration with the service I received from Connells during my recent remortgage process. This was my first ever remortgage, and from the very first call I made it clear to the advisor that I had no prior experience and needed clear guidance, step by step. He assured me he would explain everything properly but unfortunately, that never happened.

Very poor experience with Connells. I was quoted a clear fee to find new tenants which was supposed to include references, Right to Rent checks and the tenancy agreement. Instead, I received a statement with lots of extra and duplicated charges.

Connells is a terrible agency that only cares about you until the contract is signed. After being exemplary tenants for over 2 years, we have received zero support or flexibility. Despite the standard practice in the UK, they refused any 'rolling contract' options, forcing us into rigid fixed terms.

GoogleWhen ever i call to view the property its always fully booked. Even though property listed in an hour, fully booked. 1 time I viewed share ownership property which is for the first time buyer and who can't afford full property. I offered full asking price but they sold it to some one on cash. My question is if someone can afford to pay full 72k cash. Which is un fair. Last time property on sale but when i phoned to book viewings, they said it will be available in few month time. So, my question is, why you put on sale then if its not available. Every time they take your number for call back but never call back. I think they are just scam..

From the start my experience has been terrible with 32 weeks contract High Fee's do not enter or commit yourself into any long contract.you then have to lower the price they don't lower the fee.you are still left after this period with no sale.

Rented a property from Connells, at the end of term landlord tried to exploit and grab the deposit and Connells acted like they can’t take any responsibility. Connells were the ones rented the property and should’ve taken some responsibility.
