Bullied & Lied To!

Against my better judgement, I was persuaded to sell my house with Connells. It was the worst decision I made. One particular staff member was aggressive and bullied me throughout the whole time. They were only on the buyers side and did not help me at all. We were manipulated and lied to, and what is a stressful experience was made even more so by that staff members actions. I was on the point of a breakdown by the time we moved. I will never use Connells again, and would advise people to stay well clear.

Samantha, David and rentals were amazing in helping us find and secure our new rental property. Although we had some bumps along the road, Sam and David were always friendly and helpful through the whole process. They kept us updated at every stage and although it took longer than planned, they were helpful in fire fighting all issues and getting us across the line. They were both very friendly and eager to get us in, they gave us a lovely ‘welcome to your new home’ package! Overall a lovely and friendly experience and would definitely use Connell’s rentals again.

Connells Falsified my Valuation Report!

Connells did valuation report on my house recently. It is a comedy of errors by this company. Firstly, they tried to falsify my report by adding that my property was in a flood area and had previously been flooded. All of which was proven to be incorrect and instead of altering the valuation report to suit this they refuse.

Recently arranged a viewing of a property, everything was confirmed time and date all agreed. After driving for an hour I arrived for the viewing on time with no member of staff there to meet me. Various calls to the office to see if someone was attending went unanswered, a complete waste of my time. An e-mail I sent to stress my displeasure of the service I had received also went unanswered. When ever i call to view the property its always fully booked. Even though property listed in an hour, fully booked. 1 time I viewed share ownership property which is for the first time buyer and who can't afford full property. I offered full asking price but they sold it to some one on cash. My question is if someone can afford to pay full 72k cash. Which is un fair. Last time property on sale but when i phoned to book viewings, they said it will be available in few month time. So, my question is, why you put on sale then if its not available. Every time they take your number for call back but never call back. I think they are just scam..

Connells is a terrible agency that only cares about you until the contract is signed. After being exemplary tenants for over 2 years, we have received zero support or flexibility. Despite the standard practice in the UK, they refused any 'rolling contract' options, forcing us into rigid fixed terms.
