We rented through Houseman Properties for five years, and they have truly been exceptional from start to finish. Every interaction was friendly, professional, and genuinely supportive. Any queries or issues we had were always handled quickly and with care, and we always felt looked after as tenants. Moving out was just as smooth as moving in, and their communication throughout our entire tenancy was fantastic. We have worked with Emma and Raphael from Houseman for 8 years and in that time we have found them extremely responsive, acting responsibly on behalf of the tenants and the landlords be it moving in, moving out or issues that occur during the tenancy. They have very good relations with the contractors they use and can always be relied upon to take a pragmatic view around any issues that crop up. I stumbled upon Houseman Properties advertising a 2 bed rental property late summer. Arranged a viewing and was astonished it was a 1:1 appointment. Met with Raphael and the tenant for viewing. From this first visit to moving in Raphael & Emma were extremely helpful, professional and detailed. Everything fell into place quickly efficiently and simply. I was supported through out, all my questions quickly followed up and answered and including awkward questions too were dealt with ease. Move-in was made with ease and follow ups were dealt with professionally with a lot of empathy. All matters were just taken care of. Absolutely amazing! Raphael and Emma both make a wonderful team and are professional, friendly respectful of individual needs and very supportive . Dear Raphael & Emma, Houseman Homes I’ve known you both for several years and we’ve worked together on many occasions which I thank you for. In this time, you’ve sold mums house and this time round a house on behalf of my mother-in-law. 2020 was a challenge for many and during lockdown we had to move Lauren’s nan into full time care. It was a real tough time for all. We put Daphne’s house on the market to afford the full-time care and she unfortunately passed away. 93 years old and I’m pretty sure she wanted to kick my arse. You guys were absolutely first class. From advising us all on not taking certain offers, advising buyers on future planning permission to avoid time wasters, and handling the family during their loss. All of this as well as keeping the buyers informed throughout the probate. Thank you both for this above and beyond service. They gave us sound advice on rental expectations and had the property on the market within 48 hours. Their communication was great, and we were kept well informed of the level of interest and viewings.
