It was great dealing with Priscilla Mohanarajah, once all the documents were sorted it was simple to work out the best offer for myself and to submit the application. The mortgage itself and valuation were done promptly and I was impressed at the speed all things got done. Would recommend!

Very poor communication, no understanding of the tenants deposit scheme quoting wrong information and not paying in time, still not received. And not replying to emails and answerphone messages. Do not use. This was the Sutton branch

Save your nerves, do not use this company. They confirmed that they are ready for exchange but then there were some inquiries to be processed, they could not communicate with the chain properly, as result we lost £2500 in the stamp duty by missing the discount period end.

I would leave a negative star if I could! Horrible people. They don’t have basic courtesy. Rude on calls and in our last interaction they were literally shouting at us on phone. Highly incompetent staff who know nothing about the property. And they treat tenants like second class citizens.

Got told by an employee that there would be a refund in 3-5 working days. 2 weeks later we are still chasing this. 3 different people told us a different story. They can take money really easily but getting a refund is something they probably never heard off.

I am an experienced BTL landlord and needed to use a management service for a property in SW London. I made the mistake of using Barnard Marcus. I have never experienced such poor communication, and in short an unacceptable level of service from a firm that is a member of a professional body. Do not use.

The worst agency I have ever dealt with in London. I wouldn’t even know where to begin to talk about the issues both me as a tenant and my landlord have had. Incompetent people, liars, corner cutters, lack all types of communication skills. Avoid avoid avoid. Especially the Wandsworth branch.

GoogleIf you want good service and a friendly local agent, then Barnard Marcus is the way forward. They dealt with my sale in a professional manor and Maya in lettings proceeded in helping me find a rental property afterwards. I can say all round they are a brilliant agent and I would recommend them to anyone :)

I have on several occasions been interested in property for auction by Barnard Marcus, however as a buyer I have experienced terrible service, many times not even receiving a reply to emails. Sellers with properties under 500,00 should look elsewhere in my opinion
