I made an offer for a house, the offer was rejected without any reasons. All the agent could say is that there were too many applicants. I sure did put in interest immediately after viewing the house. Had to call twice for an offer form to be sent to me. I even sent an email because they would say that they will send the form after the calls and never do, not until I sent an email. If the landlord had numerous applicants, why then ask me to come for viewing? I knew something was fishy when I had to call more than once to get an offer form. Terrible service!

Very friendly service. My house was initially overvalued and photos weren’t very good so it took longer to sell than expected. Neil did a good job once he took over. Fees were quite reasonable.

Christine and the team at Reeds Rains were amazing. We bought our new house through Reeds Rains and unfortunately we didn't use them to sell our house. We sold through manners and harrison who were absolutely rubbish. There was always somebody answering the phone at Reeds Rains unlike manners and harrison who never answered the phone or returned messages. I wouldn't hesitate to use Reeds Rains if I were to move again in the future. Superb service and I couldn't recommend Christine at the Acklam office enough. Very informative, always eager to answer any questions and readily available. We'll done Christine and thankyou very much.

Having been with this estate agent for 2 months I am really not satisfied with the service, the agent who came and did the valuation when asked if we signed with them would it allow us to go with other estate agents and he assured me yes, I now find out after he left, this to be an untruth, we have had no contract given to us, and although they promise of a weekly phone call up to date this has never happened I definately feel we have been talked into something with a lie And I do not recommend this estate agent and am going to seek advise to release me from this service

Dear Sir/Ma, I have just visited one of your new foreign tenants this morning in Middlesbrough. It’s Heartbreaking to note that none of your staff could even run him through on how to operate those appliances in the apartment whereas, he (Mr Mark Obasi) had paid you in full for this service and up to 6 months in advance because he is new in the country. This is extremely shameful and sad, that a whole Estate Agent with world class status such as REEDS RAINS ESTATE AGENT,could not live up to standard. I believe that a business as this that caters to hospitality needs in terms of housing either renting or buying should listen and be willing to help new customers. I am in pains today in a new house I rented simply because this agency is more focused on taking my money than the quality of value given. First impressions go a long way, and reed rains has not given a good first impression regarding landlords, house agents in the UK in regards to visitors, international students coming to the UK for the first time. I was made to pay 6 months rent upfront simply because it’s my first time in the uk and hence can’t have a previous Landlord. I am highly dissatisfied as the staff that handed me my keys was unbothered about my welfare and concerns regarding the fixtures in the apartment. There was nobody to give me a tour or brief about how to live and use Morden fixtures in the house I.e heating controls and door security , security alarms and codes. This is unprofessional as anyone could get hurt using trial and error methods to figure out how electrical equipments work in a new home and I hope this is addressed by the management.

I'm saying 4....because all I know about them in Middlesborough is they actually answer the phone, they're real, they have an office/shop, they did answer questions. So very positive! Other agents in that area are internet based companies, use an answering portal, do not get back to client and when they do, they cannot answer any queries about properties they advertise. So yes, use a known name like Reeds Rains! Of course, that's no help if you're buying though and the seller doesn't use a kosher agent.
