GoogleMichael Poole Middlesbrough helped me to work fast to sell my house and secure the house I wanted. Tom visited my home quickly for a valuation and took photos the same day, and also had an honest conversation about the asking price - no unrealistic prices, but the right price to sell quickly based on comparables in the area. My listing went live on the MP website the next day, with viewings organised the same day. I received an offer over asking price the day after, meaning my house was sold before it hit RightMove. Craig was especially helpful with viewings - I had to do a lot of my own viewings as requests came in so quickly that MP didn't have availability at such short notice to do accompanied viewings (though they would have accommodated this with more notice - it was my choice to do them as I needed to move quickly). He advised on how to handle difficult questions and to redirect any queries about price/offers back to the office team, and generally listened to me complain 😂 Craig and Ruby in Middlesbrough office have continued to support me through the sale and my onward purchase, chasing solicitors and liaising with the entire chain. My sale and purchase completed this week - I'm not planning on moving again, but if I do I will use MP.

The apartment had been reserved by someone else while we were talking however since the one who reserved couldn’t proceed with the application, George was vigilant to come back to us promptly when we badly needed this apartment as we had very few days for the move. GoogleI would just like to thank Tom, Sophie and the team from the Middlesbrough office. From my very first meeting with Tom to have the house valued, I have felt so at ease with the team. The property was advertised quickly and viewings were arranged straight away. Sophie kept kept me up to date when a visit was booked and also I received follow up reports after the viewing had taken place. I was lucky in that the person who viewed first bought the property. During the legal procedure I was kept completely up-to-date and new exactly where things were at. I was 100% kept in the loop from valuation to completion. I would highly recommend using Michael Poole to anybody wishing to sell or buy a property.

GoogleWe contacted Michael Poole when we were selling our deceased Dad’s house because previously both myself and other family members had had excellent service from them when selling our own properties. As usual we were not disappointed and from start to finish the service was outstanding. Communication excellent- we received text information informing us of viewing and personal calls re feedback from viewers. We had several potential sales fall through but within a day the property was back on line and new potential buyers were booked in. They had a key to the property so we didn’t need to be there for viewings - the whole thing was seamless. Craig, Sophie and Linsey were an amazing team and a special thanks to Sophie for the laughs. Thank you all so much - it was a sad sale for our family as it had been our family home for 58 years. But you helped and sometimes you just need that support. Amazing

From start to finish of putting our home on the market to the sale of the property the team at Guisborough office, Alisha and Jack plus Emma in the Admin team in Middlesbrough were extremely efficient and professional and very proactive in marketing our home. They took superb photos of the property and a 360 degree walkthrough video which was very helpful to prospective purchasers. We were kept in the loop re viewers, and they always gave feedback on viewings. Then when things went quiet in terms of viewings they actively looked at ways of better marketing our property. They also sent regular newsletters of the local housing market trends in the area which was very informative. We were thoroughly satisfied with the service received which in fact exceeded our expectations and would not hesitate in recommending them to any prospective house sellers

TrustpilotMP don’t provide the most basic customer service/experience
MP are only interested in speaking to you when you have a viewing. My House has been with them all year and because there’s been little interest I haven’t heard from them for months. No check-ins, no phone calls just to let us know they’re still trying to sell. Estate Agency’s are all the same, just choose the one that will charge you the least % at sale as all the agency’s do is use rightmove. We were promised proactiveness to seek out buyers, as they don’t speak to us we will assume this doesn’t happen and it’s purely waiting for potential buyers to find our house on rightmove. We’d remove the house from sale at this point, but would need to pay MP a fee despite them not selling the house or even providing the most basic customer service. We aren’t bitter the house isn’t selling but the least MP could do is suggest ways of pushing it, they havent thought of one thing, instead it’s us who come up with ideas. To just leave the customers whose houses aren’t selling and never touch base with them is unforgivable service. Poor, poor show, we thought the agency couldn’t get worse than our previous one!!
