Google**Avoid Foxtons if you want to avoid heartbreak after finding a rented home.** Good in helping us find a place, back-stabbing in discussions in the offer to renew it after a year. Huge rent increase, long-renewal and no break-out clause (Standard in Foxton contracts). The ES agent's stance were unreceptive of negotiating, interactions were dismissive and unpleasant. I am very sad to be leaving my current home.

GoogleBuying a property with Foxtons Wimbledon was hassle-free. Kesha was very efficient on the viewings and then negotiated a good price with the vendor. She recommended a solicitor and surveyor, and kept in touch regularly. When it came to completion, Ryan pulled out all the stops to achieve exchange and completion in two days! They were always attentive, professional and accessible.

GoogleThe truth is: once you move in, they cut the contact 🙊 then, entire tenancy no contact at all, missing files on their website (inventory file, so quite important). Also at the end of the tenancy, no contact at all. Zac, Rupert (or someone with a similar name) - couldn't reach them. Actually they only contact you when in need to arrange viewings for the next tenants. Soo ridiculous and funny tho. 😅

GoogleWe have been renting with Foxtons for 3 years. At the end of the 3rd year, they did not give us any information, they did not respond to our messages, as our landlord terminated the agreement with them. We stated that we were worried because we do not know why our contract was terminated and they did not even write us an e-mail. We were not pleased with the service they provided.

GoogleAlthough initially i thought the % fee on the high side, in the end i have got what i paid for. Harry MacNaughton, who looked after me was very responsive, kept me informed , and when things got a little bogged down near the end worked very hard to get the deal done. All in all i am very happy with the result and the service provided.

GoogleWe worked with Foxtons Wimbledon to rent our house. It was a very positive experience. Having worked with another agency previously, who consistently managed to disappoint us, Foxtons were the complete opposite. They did exactly what they said they would. Rupert, who was our main point of contact, was precisely what we were looking for in someone to help us rent our home. He was efficient, low drama, with very clear and rapid communications (e.g., emails were typically answered within an hour). We found renting out a house is not an easy experience. With Rupert and Foxtons Wimbledon it was about as painless as it could be.

GoogleBe prepared to use the mydeposit scheme otherwise you will lose out on your deposit. Guaranteed they will do it to you. Ended up losing out on £100 instead of the £650 they claimed for. PS it's the agency you have to worry about not the landlord.
