GoogleDue to my mums work commitments she asked me to organize a valuation for our house. I looked at multiple companies and chose to go with Wards. I came in contact with Connor who has been extremely helpful and polite throughout, and recently booked our family a viewing at a house we liked. So thankful for his help and honesty.

I had an offer accepted on a property with outdated decor but with no indication of any problems. When the survey came back the results were absolutely dire and showed massive costs for urgent repairs.Wards dismissed these costs by referring to them as "updating" and claiming the work needed was "clear". Firstly, the cost of updating would be in addition to (not instead of) these urgent repair costs, as well as further essential repair costs stated by the surveyor. Secondly, the repairs needed were NOT at all obvious because I am not a surveyor and there was no mention of any of these problems by Wards.The fact that they claim the repairs needed were clear (which they were not to someone without the relevant surveying qualification) indicates that they already knew about these major problems and had withheld that information when advertising the property.They claim they are now looking for another buyer, presumably by again not mentioning any of these problems.I have had large amounts of both my time and money wasted because Wards did not disclose the true condition of the property.

They have made the whole process so much easier and whenever I have needed advice or help they have always been at the end of the phone. Thanks to them both I will soon be living in my lovely new home.

Fortunately Wards had set up a lot of their procedures online and this coupled with our estate agent Laura being available through email and phone calls we managed to move house without any real road blocks

This estate agent is not trustworthy. Brendon, the branch manager, ignored the buyer’s concerns and questions. He stood on the seller’s side only and kept saying to the buyer that he tried to help to resolve disagreements between the seller and the buyer. Besides, he was very slow to respond your emails and questions, but forced you to answer his email within 24 hours, or else he would tell you he would stop the transaction with the buyer, and put the property back to the market. In fact, he had told me (the buyer) for several times already. Furthermore, he was suspected to uphold the important information during the transaction between the seller and the buyer, and he almost destroyed the whole transaction in the end. Fortunately, the seller suggested to contact the seller directly to clarify misunderstanding. Therefore, he was not only virulent to the buyer, but also to the seller. If you really want to sell your property, I would not recommend Wards to you.

Excellent service from Maria at Wards. We were able to view the apartment and do all the paperwork/contracts etc. online as we were moving from a distant location in the UK. Everything also went very smoothly with Nadia on our move-in. A professional service and I would certainly use Wards Estate Agents again.
