GoogleI am notoriously harsh on estate agents and have had some unpleasant experiences in the past. I am pleased to say that having just moved into my new apartment managed by Mann lettings, Margate i am relatively unphased by the "estate agent" experience. Bradley was great. He kept me up to date with how things were proceeding and was prompt in replying to my emails, returning calls and answering any queries i had. I like the personable approach. Being able to view a property in person without filling in a thousand forms is a big plus. I have a challenging career, family commitments and was searching to rent outside of the area where I lived previously. I did not have endless time to spend doing so. A holding deposit was not taken until it was clear that all the relevant referencing would be all good. When i went to the office to pick up the keys i was handed the box (as pictured) It was a nice touch.

Horrible experience as tenants. Multiple issues beginning from ignoring maintenance requests as tenants to not responding to emails regarding deposit return after tenancy. Even ignored our request for more information regarding extending the tenancy - proceeded to act as if not inquired and upon questioning why, they said that we should've made a request. The agency doesn't communicate between each other and does not provide timely responses to emails and completely ignores questions asked through their website. As tenants cannot really choose the agency, a warning to landlords that the agency is highly incompetent

I'm extremely disappointed after moving into the property in Chatham. We were assured it had been freshly painted and professionally cleaned, but that’s clearly not the case. The carpets are sticky, as if someone tried to clean over dirt and left behind a residue it feels like walking on dried grime. As for the so-called “fresh paint,” if throwing paint around with no care counts, then someone needs to reassess their standards. The finish is so poor that even my two three-year-old twins could’ve done a better job. There are visible paint runs throughout, and it looks like mould has simply been painted over instead of properly treated. I can only imagine how that will reappear once winter sets in. I wish I could attach photos to show just how bad it really is. The lettings team should really be checking their properties and works that have taken place before letting them to us. I can't imagine landlords being happy with paying for these standards.

I am writing this review of Morgan Knott, who is an Estate Agent for Mann Countrywide. Morgan showed me around a property a few months ago, and I thought she was knowledgeable about the market and had good ideas about potential property renovation. She was also a good communicator in my opinion, so I was always clear how likely my bids were to be successful, and what the thoughts of the vendor were. Good job!

Do not let with this agent The so called “manager” of the Beckenham branch Samuel Freeman branch lacks basic communication or comprehension skills unsure why such a person will be allowed to head a branch. The team is not properly trained and does not even follow the proper internal procedures of the organisation as a whole but not surprised as they are a reflection of the manager. They lack also basic humanity or compassion and will not make any exceptions for mitigating circumstances such as being made redundant during the process even when this is not your fault or even within your control when such happened after you have successfully passed your referencing process. Will do anything to keep your holding deposit even forge your application details and claim you have signed a waiver to loose your holding deposit when you have not and you have clearly provided proof or ever even put in writing this is non refundable.

Absolutely disappointed and regretting I chose MANN woolwich , Victoria wasn’t supportive and helpful at all, I rented a house 3 weeks ago, when I went in there was no hot water at all. Been chasing and going to the agency in woolwich every day and until today there is still not hot water in the property. Never ever trust them especially Victoria. I can’t believe that in 21st century I need to use kettle to have shower . Thank you @mannwoolwich

I put my house on the market for sale in mid April 2022 with Mann Countrywide Rochester having invited three local estate agents to value the property. I was impressed with Andrew Reed the lead person doing valuations. I felt he knew the market and was helpful in comments on how best to present the property. As it turned out his valuation was the higher of the three agents but that was not my reason for selecting Mann Rochester. Mostly I felt I could trust Andy and his team and we would have a good working relationship. At the first open day of the showing of the property, I had three good offers with one over the asking price. Having accepted one of the offers, we set to work on moving forward. Whilst I chose not to use Mann Rochester's in-house conveyancing team, the entire process was smooth. Andy and his colleague Barry Smith were always on hand to help move things along. The sale completed in mid-July. I have no hesitation in recommending a team led by Andy Reed if you are selling your home in Rochester, Kent.
