I just wanted to take a moment to say how incredibly grateful I am for the support I’ve received from Andrew and Tom at Mann Lettings in Margate . From the very beginning, they have gone above and beyond in helping me find the right property. At a time that has felt extremely stressful and overwhelming, their communication has been absolutely incredible, always clear, timely, and reassuring. They have both shown genuine care and understanding, which has made such a difference throughout this process. I honestly can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done. Their professionalism, patience, and commitment to helping me find the right place has been outstanding. I truly felt supported every step of the way. I cannot recommend Mann Lettings enough, especially if you’re looking for a team that genuinely puts their clients first. Thank you again, Andrew and Tom, you’ve been amazing!

My family had rented a house with Mann agency Gravesend for which paid all the fee in advance including rent and deposit. When it comes to day of moving 14th December 2024, we received a call from jay squire (manager) that we can't take the keys since gas certificate is not in place and there might be gas leaking. He was not even sorry while speaking to us. Since we had paid until 14th December to our current landlord who had already rented the room to someone else who was also coming on same day evening 5pm . Even that person came as well. We were panic because we had no place to go. Our moving van were also rented and ready. My sister who was also moving with us she is heavily pregnant and I already have a 4 year old kid. Due to which we all were panic . We visited the office mann properties, what the staff treated and spoke to us very rudely especially Katie Garrett except sales manager( I am not sure if think his name is Rob ) and one more member of staff i think Dan they were the only one who talked to us nicely. Otherwise Katie totally refused to help us and said she can't manage anyone and left us almost homeless. She even said we should go to council to get a house , do you really think they will give us a house in few hours instead of helping those people who are already in queue since years. Renting manager was also not helpful at all. Eventually Katie told us to go out from the office and told us she will call police which was obviously not a solution for atleast us. They closed the office earlier and locked it inside so we had to sit outside in cold with our kid just in hope that they will do something. But no it was just the worst day of life. Then on Monday 16th December when I visited to the office to take the money back jay told he will not give us our full money back even we were not faulty we were ready to move but they were the one who breached the contract . Even I reviewed on Google for it they deleted it as well which was even not including a single word like violence or abusive or something like that. Which is totally against the uk law as well. Kindly choose the good company if you are really looking for a peaceful experience never go to them

An absolutely dreadful service led by incompetent manager(s) who I felt had zero regard for either the sale or the safe keeping of my property. I was very saddened and disappointed by their poor ethics and do not regard them as honest or trustworthy. Senior managers are ill informed, indifferent and condescending. I would never recommend them under any circumstances.

Sydney - Mann Woolwich - Patient, Cooperative and Understanding

Sydney from Mann Woolwich was our representative for house viewing. Sydney was very professional, patient and understanding towards us during our house viewing (for the third time). We took our own time to look around and she was really patient throughout the process. When we had queries about a few things inside the property she diligently checked with the sellers to keep us informed. There have been circumstances when we had been delayed to our visit, she was very understanding and helpful.

The renting Market in Thanet is tough. So many outsiders see Margate as the place to be; so finding a place to perch is not easy! Also there are some real sharks out there. Estate Agents only too happy to pocket your deposit; and let you slip between Pillar and Post. Mann Letting agents are fair and polite. In a tough World; they keep their tempers and do their best. They do their best to make sure even younger Landlords - blessed with the Business Ambition of the latest Apprentice Star - do get that necessary work done. Yes, you may have to write the odd letter... but being one of their tenants means they are on your side. They will make sure your Landlord gets necessary work done. My experience, (I am long in the tooth and have rented across London and Paris as well as Ramsgate),as a long standing Tenant of Mann Letting Agents; has taught me that if you are patient and polite and a good tenant they will be supportive and helpful. The Office will be supportive when you contact them. They also do their best to maintain good standards without being draconian; when tenants face difficulties as we all do at times.

Horrible estate agent. Took money for referencing from more than 2 people to the value of £403. keeping your deosit because you failed reference. when confronted a lady at the Dartford branch called Holly, she denied referencing 2 people at a time. I accused her that this looks like a scam, why reference 2 people and then keep the money of the second person. I asked if they belong to an ombudsman or PRS, they voicemail my call since then. I can not get to speak with them on my mobile number. I had to use someone's number and they cut the phone off all the time. Ridiculous and they are nothing but a scam in Dartford branch. Shame on you Holly
