This was mine and my partners first time purhcasing a house - So obviously everything was all new to us. Sam was extremely helpful and responsive in explaing and helping us through the process, He answered all our questions and was always on hand to help when something popped up! We sold a house through Frank Innes and I really don’t know what we would’ve done without their help and support. The house sale was delayed and sometimes the only communication we had was with the estate agent as the solicitor wasn’t as forthcoming. In particular Samuel, our contact, made sure he communicated with us on a almost daily basis, he reassured us, never got stroppy, always empathetic and nothing was too much trouble. Pretty good for a traditional Estate Agent. Generally answered the phone and emails prompty. They were always polite and friendly when spoken to. A bit more competatively priced than other traditional estate agents. The welcome hamper given upon completion was a nice touch! Couple of point I remember being frustrated at were 1 - For sale sign being put up outside property without asking if we wanted one. We didn't plan to have one but just arrived home one day to see it so ran with it. 2 - During one of the email exchanges about offers made my address from 5 years prior (not the current or for sale property) was listed as my address on documents by Frank Innes. This showed they had not kept their databases upto date, felt a bit unprofessional. 3 - My property took quite a while to sell and the only times any progress was generated was when I took the initative and contacted Frank innes to discuss how to generate more viewings. This usually took the form of me saying right lets lower the price and being more realistic about the properties value in the current market. After the months of little activity this is something I feel the agent could have suggested. Overall if you want a traditional estate agent experience they are not bad. Personally in future I think I will go with an online only company as the market now is dominated by clicks on Rightmove etc. I did all the viewing myself and essentially all the agent did was take phone calls and send emails etc. This isn't something that with the overheads of a bricks and mortar office/store really are not justified in their higher price compared to online/phone only agents for what they actually do now days. I would suggest an option for a reduction in fee available for customers who agree to do all the viewings themselves.

Myself and my family have used Frank Innes regularly and every time they achieve a good selling price, sometimes above the asking price. On every occasion, they arranged 6 plus viewings within the first week and sold the houses within 2 weeks. The team work very hard to provide weekly updates and always offer to chase up queries with the buyers and both sets of Solicitors. Using their Solicitors (Countrywide Conveyancing) is really good, there is a portal to log into which updates you every time a document or message is available and each milestone is tracked.
