GoogleA big thank you to the staff at the Mansfield branch especially, Kirsty, Katie, Amber, Melanie & Brandon. They were all amazing in dealing with the sale of my late mum's house. Nothing was ever too much trouble when needing to contact them. I would definitely recommend them.

GoogleIf you are considering to rent with these estate agents, RUN A MILE. I gave a months notice, I got several phone calls asking if i was able to leave early as they had new tenants interested and wanted to move in ASAP. I agreed to leave 3 weeks earlier than i originally planned. I had been gone 2 weeks and heard nothing in terms of partial refund as I had paid for that month, baring in mind i was told i would get it when i left. Called to chase to be told the new tenants had dropped out and I was able to go back to the property. I asked how as i handed the keys back weeks ago, i mentioned about the partial refund on the rent to be told because the new tenants dropped out i wasnt entitled to my rent back as the property was still mine until the original date I gave, even when they ASKED me to leave earlier than the date I gave. It was the first time i rented, i only wanted to do for a short period of time and I will NEVER EVER rent again due to this absolute shambles of a estate agents.

GoogleI will start with the positive points. Lucy, my contact, was very good towards the end of completion at chasing solicitors and getting the process moving when they all seemed to be slowing down. For that I am very grateful Initially however I felt like I was pressurised into choosing their solicitors. I didn't have one set up when my offer was accepted and when I told them that I needed a day to sort it I was told that if I didn't give a solicitor name by the end of the day, my offer was accepted at 4pm so that left me an hour to sort, that they would have to tell the vendors who may choose to pull my offer. This was unfair and pressured me into accepting their "in house solicitors" who was actually in Manchester.

GoogleI would not hesitate to recommend Bairstow Eves Mansfield. We have just purchased our first property through them. Unfortunately, despite it being a straight forward purchase/sale with no chains, we did encounter some issues with the sellers solicitors. I spoke to a few people at the Bairstow office throughout the process and they were all very polite and helpful. My main contact at their offices was Mollie Rowden who I would highly recommend to anyone, she was polite and professional and went above and beyond when we encountered issues with delayed responses from the solicitors etc. She kept me fully informed of what was happening and chased up replies from the sellers solicitor daily where needed.
