I was introduced to Goodwin Fish by a colleague who used them for property sales in the Manchester area and thought very highly of them. I initially found the commission to be expensive, more than twice the quotes from other agents, but soon realised that the professional, friendly, attention to detail service they provided all through the sale to be exceptional. They were super efficient and found a buyer, who paid £10k over the asking price, in less than two weeks. They then handled the daunting task of the sale, which was a leasehold property, and the myriad documents required with an extremely hands on attitude and a completion that went seamlessly. It goes without saying that the commission charged was worth every penny.

GoogleGreat service from Alex and Ian when selling our apartment. Very professional and supported us all the way through the process. In particular we had some issues with our buyer towards the end of the sale, but both Alex and Ian were incredibly helpful in keeping things moving and making our sale (and purchase) a success. Highly recommend!

GoogleI have been with Goodwinfish for many years now and I have a great relationship with all the guys in the office. Nicola is a huge support sorting all new tenant related issues and Nicola will always take your call and respond promptly. Nicola is a great asset to this business and she's a pleasure to deal with.

GoogleWe had an unfortunate experience with a letting agency that failed to address our concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner. Over the course of several weeks, our flat endured persistent flooding, resulting in extensive damage to our belongings, including valuable items and clothing that were tainted by sewage. Regrettably, the agency exhibited a lack of responsiveness and actively evaded taking appropriate actions to rectify the situation. As a result, we endured significant mental and physical distress, exacerbated by the unavailability of habitable rooms due to the absence of carpeting and the presence of sewage. Disturbingly, the agency neglected to provide an emergency contact number, leaving us to seek assistance from neighboring residents. The overall experience was highly traumatic for both of us, and thus, we regretfully advise others to exercise caution when considering engaging with this particular agency.

GoogleI recently had a viewing with McKayla for a rental flat in Manchester. She was very professional, helpful and efficient. She presented my offer very quickly to the landlord and was accommodating in following up with next steps. Hopefully I will secure the flat, but either way I must commend McKayla’s work ethic and wish her the best in her career.

GoogleMove out was handled extremely poorly, complete lack of communication, charged us for £200 professional cleaning for a flat that was cleaner than when we moved in. Sent us the pictures for a different flat in the checkout report. charged us for cleaning of two mattresses when we both had a mattress topper the whole year we were living in the flat. Avoid at all costs.
