Have nothing but praise for Express Estate Agency and the service I got from James Latham. Got plenty of viewings and my property was sold in a couple of weeks to a buyer with no chain. Once we agreed a price with the buyer it was all put into place with solicitors etc very quickly and no time was wasted getting the ball rolling.

How you operate and the benefits were clearly articulated and backed up with evidence. In addition some of the pitfalls of current arrangements were also set out, without necessarily dismissing competitors which is a good thing. The service did feel personal to me. However, a negative piece is the bombardment of email/text which reminds the end use you are just part of the production line.

Even from booking an initial viewing on the property we bought, dealing with this agent has been nothing short of painful. Slow to respond when we needed them, but chased us aggressively to exchange - the majority of the time incorrectly, even to the point where we had to return our mortgage funds because once again they told us everyone was waiting on us to complete but in fact the rest of the chain wasn’t ready. Difficult to deal with, seemed fairly clueless about the process, and we certainly wouldn’t ever use this company ourselves.
