Where do I start. Untrustworthy

Where do I start.Phoned and Booked an appointment on the 7/03/2023 for the following day at 2:45pm.The following day while working received multiple calls asking if i was still available for the appointment not even 24 hours after booking the appointment I politely said yes but informed her I couldn't talk due to work commitments.Later that day I received an email for a scheduled appointment at 5pm which was wrong so I phoned back to advise them on this to be offered a different appointment which didn't suit my schedule. After saying that it had to be 2:45 the chap on the phone seemed quite unsettled and really didn't want to give me my original appointment time kept saying I would be called closer to 3 o'clock.Anyways 2:45 arrived no call3pm arrived no call5pm arrived no call2 days later still no callObviously a very unprofessional unorganised group of individuals who don't seem to care about potential business.

I wouldn’t bother I’ve been trying to contact my sales negotiator Lauren Davis who when phoned me told me her name and said any issues or concerns I may have don’t hesitate to let her know!! I’m here for you Susan to make the process stress free for you… What a bloody joke I would have more luck asking the Man in the Moon 🌙 to contact me!She NEVER answers her phone or her emails to me…your phone number is recognised therefore you get no choice but to be put through to her extension!! If you want to move this side of the century I strongly suggest you use another company!! The gentleman we’re buying from is having the very same issues with her and we were meant to be completing tomorrow and I’m honestly at my wits end. I have an 8 hour drive to relocate and all the while I’ll be wondering if I’ll get my keys. Not good not good at all. 🤬🤬🤬

Express Estate Agency had no option of presenting a sensible cash offer. From the outset of the call, the staff member was insisting my listing online be delisted with another estate agent (i.e. themselves). They call this ‘option 2.’ Then it came to it, low and behind Options 1 and 3 were not viable according to them, and so the advice was to let them advertise it. Utter waste of time.

I was contacted by EEA

I was contacted by EEA, they said they could find a cash buyer for my property, I was contacted by them and they arranged a return call, I accepted the call and was asked to video conference with them, I was not prepared to do that and explained so, I was also told that because my house was previously on the market it would be value locked, the lock was far lower than the asking price of the house, because I lowered the value by 20k just prior to taking it off the market, this was to test the water and see if it might attract more buyers. Due to this I told EEA that I was not prepared to continue with their service. I was then badgered by them for 2 days asking me to video conf with them, I explained once again that I was willing to discuss options but did not wish to video con with them. they said it has to be that way so I said there is no need to discuss this further, they called again and asked why, I explained again. I was then sent an email asking for a review, I did not know it was a Trustpilot review but rather an EEA in house review, I have now received an email from Trustpilot asking for more details or my review will be removed. I believe I have given all the relevant information, including my contact details.

We were promised by the agent who called us initially that we will not be tied down to any contract or notice period. A week later they changed our agent .When we decided to take the property off the market the the current agent tells us that he does not know what was promised and we are tied down by a 16 week notice period.

Pleasant, but very underhanded

The advisor was pleasant enough, however at no point did they mention their fees (1.5% +vat, incredibly high!) or their tie in period(16 weeks, which was pretexted with, we dont take it seriously, but you cant sell with anyone else until it expires, which is exactly what a tie in period is, so they do take it seriously!)I had to ask for these, after they had tried to book a photographer. This booking of a photographer im sure would bind me to them im sure, but this wasnt explained. While there was no "go on sign here" there was alot of, i can book a photographer, which sounds innocent enough...Overall, flet like it was very pleasant, but very good at hiding their terms and conditions, at no point were these explained, or even offered to be sent to me before agreeing to their photographer, so no, i am not using them.
