Stacey presented us with an offer to buy our house outright on behalf of express and would call me back in 15 minutes to confirm. She didn’t call back for a week… leaving us really stressed out and confused. I called and left messages for her to let us know what was happening but she still took that long to call to say that they would not be making an offer! It was actually really upsetting at the time. So obviously I don’t recommend.Cheers

Same as all the other 'we buy any house' companies, i.e. will only offer between 10 and 20% less than your advertised price, which, is quite a lot less. The difference with this company compared to the rest is all the theatre!! All the others' I've dealt with literally call you/you call and before it goes any further they tell you they'll only give 80-90% of the asking price and when you say no, that's the end of it. But these guys are so long winded! First a 'receptionist' calls you to book you into a video call appointment with a 'property specialist', then you get a text the day of the appointment with the video link, then you get a phone call an hour before the appointment from another receptionist to confirm your appointment, then you get another text 15 minutes before the appointment to remind you of the appointment!!! Then comes the much anticipated appointment!! It is looong and goes all around the houses and despite asking 3 times to please just give me their quote, continued on regardless. In the end they wouldn't give me a quote but said it would be, you guessed it, approximately 15% lower than asking price. What's annoying about this is, they contacted me in the first instance via a letter that stated what they could offer me, which was actually around the listed price. Now, I knew of course it wouldn't be as much as promised, but between that initial letter and my video call, no new information came to light for them, nothing changed to make the quote go down nearly £100k. However, they agreed with me - that my house was worth so much more than they were offering, but good news - they're actually an estate agency as well and they could definitely sell my house for the full asking price and, shock horror, it's all my current agent's fault my house isn't selling and they can definitely do a much better job, blah, blah. Honestly, what a huge performance just to try to get me to use their agency!! Big no from me.

Express estate agency, where do I begin. Opening hours - who knows? They clearly don’t and neither do I, call at 9am no answer call at 10am no answer, call at 11am you might have a chance of getting through to someone, whether or not they know anything about the property you are buying is pot luck. Don’t expect a callback either.Somehow I have managed to get through to the final stages of purchasing a property and even received an email of my new “point of contact” to which I have responded to through multiple calls and emails and heard nothing back from for almost a week. Totally unprofessional, I am not happy with the service. I do not recommend anyone to use Express estate agency.

my son put an offer in on a house then a further offer it was accepted very same day they wanted deposit for solicitors his bank went to value the property it came back with a few problems. since then absolutely no contact we have emailed many times and rang them but no one will call back to advised whats happening ,we found out by checking website the house is no longer on market but still we cannot get anyone to ring us back from the agency its been over 5 weeks of trying but still no explanation

Overall okay as a seller. Express managed to get a buyer in quickly and things, but could improve on the communication (with both buyer and seller) very difficult to get hold of staff on the phone and I needed to contact for an update rather than being updated regularly. For the fees charged, I would have expected a bit better, but overall okay as they got the place sold in decent time, but left in the dark a bit too often.

GoogleBen was excellent. We had 20+ viewings in 3 months and got the impression he worked very hard on my behalf. Couldn't have asked more of him. He always kept in contact with me and always followed up viewings and reported all feedback to me. Very happy with him.

Samantha has passed me on to a manager, Daniel, who is unavailable. No feedback, positive or negative, has been provided on the viewings which took place two weeks ago. No email from Daniel ever, despite him saying he would do so 11 days ago.I have called and left a message last week, and still no reply. Before this review, I called again, and no reply confirmed.I have emailed Samantha Bailey for alternatives to make sure interested buyers have a chance to view the property, to make sure I can monitor the progress, but no reply from her either. All I got was a link to leave this review!EEA has sole selling rights, and has done nothing in the last two weeks. Could not be worse frankly.

They were very quick at getting back to me, they constantly kept me up to date and did all they could for a speedy completion. Especially Oliver Harrison he was great. Massive could only recommend their services!!

Overall very good experience so far, communication has been good, now that a buyer has been found for our property I hope the same level of service is provided for the rest of the process. Would have given 5 stars except for one very minor irritation - if a prospective buyer fails to show up for a viewing then there is no apparent follow up by EEA to determine why there was a "no show".
