Don’t use this estate agency they…

Don’t use this estate agency they promise you fast sale and experts along the way. They are a joke - 5 months down the line from agreeing the sale their sales progresser has hardly been in touch and now it looks like the whole chain is going to collapse as it has taken so long. I communicated this to them and 3 days later they still haven’t contacted me, returned my calls or even acknowledged my numerous e mails. When I asked a manager why I was told they have higher case loads than other progressers at other firms - that wasn’t mentioned in their marketing material. Stay well away they promise you the earth but only want your money.

Avoid - like the plague

Avoid - don’t get me wrong sale pitch fantastic promise the earth , once signed up it went down hill - the description had to correct multiple times , there strategy was just to lower the price , after viewings took day before I had to contact them for feed back and this didn’t help sell my place , But the biggest thing was arguing with me , am I not the customer?

We won't be going ahead with their service, I'm sick of all the emails and text messages The hard sale really doesn't do it for us and they couldn't offer what a local Estate agent can. 1. .5% more than my local estate agent 2. We need to do all the viewings - which our local estate agent will do for us 3. Want to tie us into a sales contract - local estate agent no contract so can move to a different estate agent if we wish at no cost or waiting for the contract to end 4. Just didn't like being harassed 5. Told us that property's over 30 days don't get offers or offers close to the asking price because you get the best offers in the 1st 30 days, after doing some research this is not 100% true We will stick with our local agent thanks

STAY AWAY!! Nik was very effective with his sales pitch. Matthew has been absolutely useless. There has been zero communication unless I initiated. Multiple emails, texts and calls unanswered. So far absolutely rubbish !!!

So far absolutely rubbish . House on the market was advertised in completely wrong area , I advised the company and they rectified this within 24 hrs however after some weeks I have noticed that the wrong information is being displayed once again . I was advised of an interested viewer , by email only , the evening before viewers wished to attend but accepted the visit , unfortunately they were a no show but this may be because it’s absolutely miles away from where it advertised . Moving forward they made no effort to contact me to advise me why the viewer did not arrive or to offer any conversation regarding it . I rung Sunday afternoon , so much for 24hr service have rung tonight and been told I will be contacted in the morning by Elliot . I await with bated breath !!!

I could not make the original booking but informed samantha prior to the meeting. she was unable to give me a replacement slot but hinted it might be Monday. i received a booking slot for Monday, on the Monday. I turned up for the meeting slot - only to be told that as i had not responded to a text, again sent on same day. my slot had been given to someone else. did not want to bother booking another slot as this had wasted my time already.

Whilst I must stress that our lead contact in Express Estate Agency, Olivia, was very helpful and polite, and really tried to push our sale through, none the less it was Express Estate Agency that recommended we use their ‘regular solicitors’ as it would be a much quicker, smoother process. Well, I can assure you it was anything BUT a quicker smoother process. They assure me this was very unusual but never the less it has taught me a lesson to only use local companies in future.
