Grace at Bridgfords Withington was great in helping us through the viewing and application process. She fit us in last minute to a viewing of a house in manchester that we ended up signing and was excellent at keeping us updated during the whole process. Couldn’t have asked for better :)

Put house on market with bridgfords after very impressive sales pitch promising a high level of service. Big mistake!!! Told them I wanted them to do viewings but they repeatedly turned up after the viewers so I had to start viewings and they took over towards end.( so embarassing) most of viewers were time wasters and not in a position to proceed with sale. Staff at office getting times and dates wrong.When I took it off market because they were making it so stressful they showed no interest at all. They then sent me a letter with names of all the viewers to give to any future agents so they could charge commission if I sold to any at a later date and reminding me of all the ways they could charge me commission. Would not recommend this company at all !!!

GoogleI have found them underhand and dishonest. I placed an offer through bridgfords and the offer was accepted the following day. We were on the cusp of booking surveyors and husband decided to have a look at the house to see what kind of survey to book. We had had no calls from them since accepting the offer but emails asking us to verify details id etc. When my husband rung he was told no offer had been acceptedand they had sinxe receivedmuch higher offers. It turns out the estate agents were holding on to us whilst taking and putting forward offers to the vendors for this property. No one had felt it necessary to inform us or felt it their professional obligation to tell us that the sale may not be proceeding at this very early stage. We almost lost out on money had we have not rung them that day. When I rung them and asked why there had been no communication there was no clear answer as to why this has happened. I think its very obvious what they were trying to do and frankly shameful. Will not be using them for future sales or do advertise my own properties if ever needed.

They rented me a house at 26 Jefferson Walk ST16 1WF and I listened to construction noises for 1 year and they forced me to sign an additional contract for 1 year even though I told them before. They tried to rent me this house above market prices. When I left, they had no other choice so they rented it to others at a lower price. They are not honest and try to rip people off. Also, do not trust the zero deposit system, they work together and try to get money from you

Had to call numerous times over two days before someone answered, waited a week for the viewing to be called two two hours before for confirmation I was attending, then one hour before they call again and cancel because someones car broke down. Absolute pants.

I visited a number of estate agents in Halifax Centre last week and Bridgfords were the best by far. On entry I was welcomed by Courtney who went above and beyond to help me with my enquiry. She took my details and added me to the mailing list for updates and has been actively sending properties that may be of interest to me ever since. Her colleague Alix was also really helpful. You can feel that the culture here is all about the people & customer. The estate agent I went to prior (not mentioning any names but very, very close to Bridgfords) had me sitting around for 10 minutes whilst on a call then reluctantly gave me a print out of a property that already had 25 people booked to view the next day (a pointless exercise, just fob me off why don't you) He didn't even take my details and I felt as though he couldn't wait to go for his lunch. Now that's what bad customer service. But Bridgfords do not deserve bad press. May I urge you to please take no notice of the bad reviews below because the team here are warm, welcoming & lovely and good at what they do so keep you heads high, because you deserve a big well done! :)

After being shown a property for rent I…After being shown a property for rent I informed the agent from Bridgfords in Sale that I’d like to put an offer in. The agency said she’d call later that day to talk me through the checks required ect and how to proceed. No call me no response from texts from the agent. When I called the office I was informed an offer was put in the day after I’d viewed the place and it was now off the market!! How was I not able to put an offer in. Had my time wasted be lied too. Had to take time out of work during a busy period to be ignored. Stay well clear of Bridgfords in sale. I won’t mention the agents name publicly as much as I’d like too
