I'm not even sure where to start. Even when I was just looking for properties in the Manchester City area, Bridgefords were always responsive and always had plenty of options which suited my needs. I undertook multiple viewings with the company and all of them went really well! Everyone I have met there was professional and really helpful. A special shout out to Edward who has sorted out the viewings, a property, mortgage advisors, and solicitors. He has been professional, supportive, and has always had a positive outlook when it came to any delays during the buying process. He was always attentive to the phone and emails whenever I had a query or question about the buying process and there were numerous occasions where he helped with the contract signing and other documents. Thank you all so much for sorting this property out for me! Everyone in the office is brilliant!

The rental market in Manchester is so competitive at the moment and we were starting to think we'd never find anywhere! Daniel and the team at Bridgfords couldn't have been more helpful in helping us secure our next flat. They were so prompt to answering our calls and we managed to pay the holding deposit and secure the property the same day it went online! We're over the moon with our new space and the whole process has been seamless thanks to their incredibly hard work! Paul, Thomas and Izzy work as a real team so they all know what is happening, they were always there to help advise on all queries and they really understood the fast moving rental market. I had one viewing and the flat was taken the same day. The terms of business were carefully explained to me and the team helped prepare all the necessary legal, energy efficiency and safety documents and certificates within days. The flat required some electrical work which I instructed to be carried out by Bridgfords and this was completed and Tenants were in position to move in within 10 days. I took a property 3 months ago with them overall everything was fine at early stage but after moving to the property i faced massive problems with the boiler i reported this in the very first week they came back to me after a week and said a technician will visit me after another week two weeks after i sorted that myself again the issue appeared in second month after chasing them for couple of weeks again they sent a technician 2 weeks after for one day 1 had hot water and nothing after 3rd time i reported the issue they took 3 weeks to send a technician at my property and during that i had no hot water in my property in this cold weather i had to use gyms bathroom and was living in a miserable situation without having proper living conditions at my space overall very disappointing service by Bridgfords Manchester.

I have had the pleasure talking to Izzy, Tom and Charlotte in the process of renting a property. They have been very responsive, resourceful and helpful. Looking at the reviews in the past (which are negative in majority), it is not hard to see that this agent used to have a lot of problems. But it seems that they have since acknowledged the issue and have been willing to spend resources to work on their customer service, which, judging by the increasing review score here, has gradually paid off. I was encouraged but in no way forced to post this review. This is mainly to acknowledge the work they put in to make positive changes. Still, viewers, do keep in mind that this review, along with many other 5* reviews, is written as kind of a first impression. Most of us (including me) at the time of writing the reviews have not even begun our tenancy, so none of these reviews can really represent the experience during or after tenancy with Bridgfords. Do take these reviews with a grain of salt. Edit on 28 Feb 2023: It's been about a month since I moved into the new apartment, and I'd have to say that Izzy and her team have been very responsive (through both phone calls and emails) and helpful with the inquiries and requests that I have had. For instance, the letterbox and the mattress were both in very bad condition when I first moved in so I immediately requested for replacements of both of them. Literally on the next day I received Izzy's reply that she's contacted the landlord and that the landlord's given approval, and she proceeded to arrange for such replacements, which were subsequently completed in the next few days. I am editing this review to show my appreciation of the team, and I stand by my original rating of 5*.

Me and my partner recently accepted an apartment with Bridgfords and Tom was very helpful. We walked into the agency on the off chance to see if there were any available properties for us to look at. Within 5 minutes we received a call back and were told that Tom had a property for us to view. We instantly fell in love with it and Tom couldn’t have made the process any smoother or quicker for us to sign all documents and get everything sorted as soon as possible. I am really satisfied with the conversation i had with Thomas Richmond from the first contact by email. He actually took time to discuss our current situation and explained with honesty about the property I was interested in. Unlike a lot of other agents out there, he also made sure all correspondence was responded within 24 hours which was really appreciated too. I am very pleased with Thomas Richmond, when I mean he was a great help to me, he was indeed a blessing I needed when I came to Bridgfords, even my friend who got an apartment through Bridgfords spoke highly of him. 1 Star is too many stars in my opinion...

I approached Bridgfords and Michael Poole last year to see about selling my late fathers Bungalow. I found their sales tactics to be a bit off, immediately trying to upsell me services I personally felt had no value, insisting it would make every difference. I begged to differ and having a bad gut feeling about them and a positive experience with Michael Poole I chose Michael Poole instead. Then came the phone calls trying to get me to switch and saying they would do a better job. After the second phone call I made it clear I was definitely not going to change my mind and asked them to remove my number from their records and not call me again. I received several other phone calls 2 or 3 weeks apart from each other and after repeatedly asking them to not call me again, the final call I received I told them (not very nicely) that if they contacted me one more time I would report them to the police for harassment as I had made it clear on several occasions I didn't want them to contact me.

The worst out there, put us through so much drama, very stressful and mentally draining, their mortgage broker is absolutely useless, 4 months later we were declined, absolute waste of time, waste of energy, they just didn't want us to buy it for some reason, maybe because we are a different skin colour to them!
