Strakers Letting team Devizes

I have extremely positive feedback to provide for Karen and her letting team. We needed to find a property quickly but having a pet dog proved to sadly be a problem for most landlords until we came across Karen. She found us a home having listened to our requirements. She was attentive and responded to communication quickly. From start to finish Karen and the letting team were exceptional and helped the whole process along. Excellent service

We purchased and sold via North Swindon Strakers and they were fantastic throughout. When we first approached the team, they were professional and reassuring. They kept us updated about viewings and gave us constructive feedback. They regularly showed us appropriate houses on the market and ones new to the market, really listening to what we needed from a house. Everyone in the office was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend Strakers and felt they provided an excellent, value for money service.

I bought through Strakers and they were…fabulous!

I bought through Strakers and they were great all the way through the process. (Much better than the Estate Sgents I sold through.) They kept me in the loop and were on hand to answer any queries I had. They removed the sold sign promptly after I had moved in. They even gave me a bottle of bubbly when I picked up the keys, which was a lovely touch! Helpful and friendly and even though I have no plans to move again any time soon, I would use Strakers next time!

4.5 stars would be a fairer assessment.

Strakers successfully sold my small 'quirky' terrace house in a tricky market for a good price. Although this wasn't a big sale for them, I felt I was treated just as well as if I had been selling a much more expensive property. The main advantage was that they had a local office, knew the market well, and were able (and willing) to get out to the property at very short notice when access was necessary. The only reason I have not given them 5 stars is because I was a bit disappointed in the first set of pictures they took of the property - they didn't show its best features. However, they willingly took another set which were much better. Perhaps 4.5 stars would be fairer! I would definitely recommend them.

Brough a house in july. The service is not good compare to other agents i have used. I called the day the compilation was done and not even a congratulations. As this was a buy to let property I asked the agent if they can post me the spare key they had. The agent did post.it with the letter head and nothing was on their. I didn't know who to contact and the staff are pretty rude. once you place a offer they don't care.

Excellent service through out a long winded sale. Strakers have helped me with a house sale that took a long time to go through even though there was no chain. Their additional conveyancing service department are worth their weight in gold and I am so grateful for the daily at times updates and chasing of the buyers solicitors.Thank you Strakers. I would definitely recommend this agent as they are the biggest in Devizes and have a large share of the sales for the town. They have great resources to help their clients get good results when selling and buying.

We Purchased through strakers in 2017 We recieved a very Poor service, Always late for our viewings and communication was very poor! We had issues on completion day and they were very unproffesional and rather unhelpful in general to the extent they made our issues worse, I thoroughly regret trusting them! Had a conversation post completion with a form of managment at the malmesbury branch and to say he was rude and showed the attitude of "we have our money now deal with it" wouldnt do it justice! My experience may be a one off but what I have written is 100% accurate to what we experienced, We sold through blount & maslin and I would suggest giving them your time as the level of service was miles apart!

Estate agents come in for a lot of criticism but I can honestly say the Strakers team have been fantastic. They always know what's happening, and they are friendly, punctual and helpful. They all know the main features of my house and were proactive in selling it I trust them and their advice - which is always constructive. Interestingly - they have taken the trouble to understand my buyers needs too - smoothing the way to completing the sale. I can't recommend them highly enough.

**Malmesbury Branch**The worst experience I have ever had property wise!1) Always late for appointments2) communication with vendors and buyers was awful! we walked in on the previous owners daughter crying as she was taking down family photos (recently lost her mum) 3) property knowledge was poor, I believe someone fell down a well when I search them on google? luckily my experience wasn't this bad! 4) on completion day we had no plumbing even though the property was sold as habitable? they advised they would send back the previous owner as they were known by strakers director as a cracking plumber... they arrived and made everything worse which cost me an arm and a leg to fix!5) when I called the director to express my disappointment he was rude and very much showed the attitude of "we have your money now so deal with it" he then later on hung up on me as the conversation wasn't going his way! Please do you research before selling or buying in the area as my experience was awful and wouldn't want anyone else to experience what we did! I shall avoid them like the plague in future!!

The whole team at Strakers proved they are worthy estate agents (who are few and far between), they were excellent at presenting our property to the market, selecting suitable purchasers and dealing with all parties involved in the process. Very helpful staff

Although the initial selling price suggested turned out to be optimistic, we were kept fully informed throughout the entire process eg when viewers were expected and what feedback was given. Once an offer had been accepted they worked very closely with our solicitors, the purchaser and with us to ensure the sale went smoothly. Staff were efficient, often working late into the evening, and very kind. I don't think they could have done anything better.

Strakers give direct and helpful comments when valuing and are realistic about valuations. Inflated valuations are not helpful in the end. Out of the initial flush of viewings we received a good offer. Strakers liaise well with clients and buyers.
