I recently had a well known estate agents let me down 15 mins before they were due to visit. I gave Holden estate agents a call as i was looking for a valuation on my home to be done, they were polite, helpful and totally willing to give me advice. On the day of the valuation the gentleman took all precautions of covid, ie mask, keeping his distance and not touching even a door handle, he was also polite and cheerful and happy to advise. When I decide to sell they will definitely be my choice to sell with.

Buying and selling a house in a pandemic could of been a very scary and isolating experience. However Holden estate agents certainly made sure that it wasn't! From the beginning of the process Darryl's professional and encompassing approach ensured that we were all safe right from the valuation through to the coordination of the viewings. We asked several agencies to value our home, and while we were tempted to go with one of the larger companies for national coverage, we decided instead that the personal service on offer at Holden would give us the best chance of a good sale. We were impressed with the time and effort made on our behalf, with a large number of viewings and several offers. We had a few hiccups at our end along the way and appreciated the fact that the team at Holden were always available to help and give us advice, even at weekends. Everyone we dealt with there was professional, friendly and helpful, which made the experience far less stressful than it could have been.

Holden's did an excellent job of marketing our property and took time to get the best photos and made the effort to thoroughly describe each room and the gardens. Our sale was secured but unfortunately the chain below fell through 3 times. This was an extremely stressful time and the team did everything they could to resecure the chain and keep us updated throughout. As moving day approached they went above and beyond ensuring that we had access to the keys as soon as possible.

Phil and Amy at Holdens are excellent and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone selling or buying their home (they dealt with both for me). I am pleased I didn’t go for the cheaper option with my sale as I personally feel that they more than covered their fees by using their knowledge and experience in the negotiations and keeping the chain moving. They kept everyone in the chain informed throughout and nothing was too much trouble (even after the sales had gone through). Would definitely use them again. Our house sale was not a straightforward one as we had a tenant in place, with an agency managing the property and we live overseas, so all of this meant that communication was absolutely key to keeping the marketing and sales process progressing, which Holden's managed fantastically well. We were delighted with the service they provided, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. We are selling other properties locally in the next few months and we have already spoken to Holden's regarding those, as we do not feel that we need to look any further for an estate agent who will look after the sales process for us any better than they would.
