We were so pleased with the service that Holden's provided us in the selling of my mother's house. They were very supportive form the first meeting we had with them. We were always kept informed about the progress of the sale and any bumps along the way. Emails were answered promptly and if necessary followed up by a phone call. When we visited the office in Maldon they were very helpful with issues that we had not foreseen and we found it easy to solve any concerns we had.

As a first time buyer I needed a lot of guidance and assistance with the process of buying my flat and Holdens happily and efficiently dealt with every query with patience and detail. Their communication was superb and I felt supported through the whole process. I would highly recommend Holdens. My flat purchase was handled by Darryl. He went above and beyond to complete this purchase for me as swiftly as possible. He was happy to step in and chase solicitors when necessary (and beyond the scope of what is expected) and always answered my many queries swiftly and efficiently. He was very personable and polite. This was a first time purchase for me and he clearly explained the processes involved with patience and detail. He carried out an outstanding job and I am very grateful. I am now happily moved into my new apartment and could not be happier.

Disgraceful! I was extremely Shocked to find out That Ryan Holden was the Director of the company, Especially the way he has treated myself and my Mother-In-Law. I would Never recommend his Services in a million years. The way he speaks to his customers is Beyond me! extremely Rude and unprofessional. He even went as far as to Tell My Mother-In-Law that she Couldn’t View a property of theirs as She would not be able to afford the repairs…? As if he knows her financial situation! ( On a side note Phil and Daryl was Extremely helpful and nice guys )

From meeting Phil for the first time, he was very professional and polite, and come across very friendly, and explained every process clearly which put us both at ease. The team at Holdens made a difficult process much easier. From the initial 'consultation' with Ryan, to the photograph and drawing up details process with Phil to the eventual sale (and purchase), they always made us feel like we were in safe and honest hands who were working in our very best interests. At all times, Phil and Amy communicated with us, answered countless questions with patience and helped to move the process along. They were always repsonsive to emails or messages if we were ever unable to get hold of them immediately. We originally decided to sell our house through Holdens as Ryan provided the most realistic valuation on our house and we liked his straight-talking advice on what work the house needed (and didn't need) before going on the market. We've found Ryan and his team to be professional, approachable and highly knowledgeable and have always been on hand when we've had questions or needed help. Ryan has been an enormous help in not just selling our house, but with negotiations on the house we were buying and his pro-active approach has made our move possible. We wouldn't use any other agents after our experience and would rate Holdens 5 stars without hesitation.

Amy was great and very patient whilst we waited for a never ending probate process to complete. Multiple visits for builders to give quotes, way before exchange, were facilitated and all in all, a really really good service. Even got a welcome pack for my new house when we eventually got probate (9mths later)...never had a welcome pack before, so a lovely touch. Amy is a credit to the estate agency business, which as we all know, doesn't have a good reputation! She even cleared out some rubbish left behind by the sellers! Awesome

First class service from start to finish. The quality of property details and the virtual tours that the agent prepares are of a high quality. Communication has been professional, friendly and very clear with all members of the team that I have spoken with. Arranging viewing is done efficiently and with text message confirmations provided. Sales Progression is so often underestimated but Holden provide the same level of attention to this as the sales process itself. From start to finish, the service from Holden with our sale and purchase was outstanding. From Amy in the office to Darryl, Phil and Ryan, we were looked after throughout the lengthy process and would recommend without a second thought. Without Phil behind the reins, the deal would have completely fallen through and we wouldn't be where we are today. Phil went above and beyond to push our sale through but more importantly the purchase, which was made increasingly more challenging due to someone within the chain being extremely difficult. Phil managed to resolve and make sure all parties got what they wanted and without the hard work he put in, as well as further support from his team, I don't believe our move would have happened.

During a long and difficult chain including a number of Estate Agents and Solicitors, Holden Estate Agents was a beacon of expertise and professionalism. All the way through they were helpful, communicative and reliable when the same could not be said for many others involved. We can honestly say we probably would not have made it into the house they sold us if they hadn't been our agents. We are so happy with the service they provided and would not hesitate to use them in the future or recommend them to anyone. Phil Cumbers was our main point of contact at Holden and all we can say is he was brilliant throughout. He was always available and communicated everything clearly. He was across the whole chain and everyone involved, knowing all the issues that needed resolving while working hard to fix them. He held the top of the chain together when we lost our buyers reassuring our sellers and their sellers that the chain would complete. We were blown away by the level of excellent communication from them, the transparency of the chain and the reassurance we needed at times. What makes their service outstanding is the ongoing excellent service once the offers had been accepted. Holden's never once dropped their service levels, they were maintained from start to finish which was the most important part for me, as from previous experience once an offer has been accepted - agents seem to leave you to it and give the odd update here and there.
