From start to finish, the service from Holden with our sale and purchase was outstanding. From Amy in the office to Darryl, Phil and Ryan, we were looked after throughout the lengthy process and would recommend without a second thought. Without Phil behind the reins, the deal would have completely fallen through and we wouldn't be where we are today. Phil went above and beyond to push our sale through but more importantly the purchase, which was made increasingly more challenging due to someone within the chain being extremely difficult. Phil managed to resolve and make sure all parties got what they wanted and without the hard work he put in, as well as further support from his team, I don't believe our move would have happened.

During a long and difficult chain including a number of Estate Agents and Solicitors, Holden Estate Agents was a beacon of expertise and professionalism. All the way through they were helpful, communicative and reliable when the same could not be said for many others involved. We can honestly say we probably would not have made it into the house they sold us if they hadn't been our agents. We are so happy with the service they provided and would not hesitate to use them in the future or recommend them to anyone. Phil Cumbers was our main point of contact at Holden and all we can say is he was brilliant throughout. He was always available and communicated everything clearly. He was across the whole chain and everyone involved, knowing all the issues that needed resolving while working hard to fix them. He held the top of the chain together when we lost our buyers reassuring our sellers and their sellers that the chain would complete. Thanks to him our sellers hung on and we managed to get into our amazing new home. Thank you so much Phil.

A fantastic experience with Holden Estate Agents! As a first-time buyer, the process of purchasing my first home was initially overwhelming, but thanks to Phil Cumbers at Holden, it became an incredibly smooth and positive experience. Phil was absolutely amazing, he answered all of my questions patiently, no matter how small, and maintained excellent communication with me throughout the entire process until completion. What really stood out was Phil’s calm and understanding nature. I tend to be quite an anxious person, and buying a house brought even more anxiety than I anticipated. However, Phil’s patience and reassuring energy made all the difference, helping me feel relaxed and supported during such a big milestone. I’ve dealt with a few estate agencies while searching for a home, and none have been as welcoming, understanding, and non-judgmental as Holden. Holdens were exceptional from both a selling and purchasing point of view! We were blown away by the level of excellent communication from them, the transparency of the chain and the reassurance we needed at times. What makes their service outstanding is the ongoing excellent service once the offers had been accepted. Holden's never once dropped their service levels, they were maintained from start to finish which was the most important part for me, as from previous experience once an offer has been accepted - agents seem to leave you to it and give the odd update here and there. In summary, I couldn't have been happier from the service we received from Holden's and they will always have my recommendation!

Tried to arrange an viewing ,we were met with hostility and rudness.The estate agent did not seem to be interested in showing us the property in fact he seem to do every thing he could by saying that the property was in poor condition and it was on a busy road he said it was not worth him getting in his car driving over showing us around if you are wasting my time. He also question our finacial situation implying we could not afford it even though he did not fully know our financial situation. His attitude made us not want to view. Very poor service ,rude and there are other bad reviews. not worth the one star you have to give to post review.
