When I initially contacted Wards, Steven Sharpe was the first person I spoke to. He was very approachable, kind, professional, personable, upbeat and helpful during every conversation. He listened to what I was looking for within a house and took this into consideration when sending me through houses to view. Passed referencing a month ago, but they and the landlady keep me in limbo. They outright refuse to provide a tenancy agreement before move-in, missed the legal statutory deadline to return my holding deposit under the Tenant Fees Act 2019, and told me on the phone that they 'do things differently'. They refuse to return the holding deposit and keep sending emails about moving in.

A big thanks to all the team at Wards Maidstone & in particular to Libby who's now left, Connor , Liam, Caleb, Steve & Tina who I mainly dealt with for the sale of my property. Also thanks to Erika in the lettings department who was there for my back up plan should the sale not happen. Selling a house is obviously very stressful but this team were very helpful & informative at every stage. The marketing was very good & there was a lot of interest before they found the ideal buyer at a fair price to us both. I booked viewing for a property with Molly. I was running late and despite her time constraints she accommodated the viewing just before 6pm. She made the process so quick and easy, from prompt response to emails, returning calls and managed to work around some admin difficulties to ensure I moved into the property a week later.
