Passed referencing a month ago, but they and the landlady keep me in limbo. They outright refuse to provide a tenancy agreement before move-in, missed the legal statutory deadline to return my holding deposit under the Tenant Fees Act 2019, and told me on the phone that they 'do things differently'. They refuse to return the holding deposit and keep sending emails about moving in.

A big thank you to staff at Wards (Gillingham branch). From the first visit by Gary, who was very professional explaining the entire process to us, this was our first move after over 38 years in the same property. All the staff were helpful and able to answer our questions. Local knowledge, within the local community and being a trusted part of our village yet with contacts countrywide. After a prolonged and disappointing adoptive first sale with the buyer pulling out two days before exchange, Dan procured a sale on our late mother’s property within two weeks. With his super efficient, friendly team including Hollie, Bliss, Sharon, Logan, Tina and Lyndsey the sale was done and dusted within nine weeks of accepting the offer. The team was attentive throughout, chasing, solicitors, the buyer, documents and keeping us in the loop. Whichever member of staff answered when we phoned the office knew of our sale and we felt assured by the knowledge on its progress. Throughout, we personally went into Bearsted Office on several occasions and were always greeted with kind, positive energy and professionalism. Would recommend to all family and friends.
