Delighted with the service from Clare, Abbi and team. We instructed them to sell our (slightly unusual) property in summer 2023. Although we didn't quite achieve the price we'd hoped for initially, Oakwood were still able to secure us a sale at a great price (verified by speaking with other agents) in a cooling and challenging market. We did suffer some setbacks along the way, especially when our first chain collapsed through no fault of Oakwood's. What impressed us most was the excellent communication, honesty and dogged persistence. Always quick to reply to emails. Always straight to the point. Brilliant at chasing other agents/solicitors in the chain - and really demonstrated the difference between a great agent like Oakwood versus some of the decidedly below-average chain agents operating locally. They also connected us with an excellent local solicitor - again, this made a huge difference and we can't overstate the importance of having a good agent-solicitor combination in the current market. It was clear that they were acting in our best interests throughout the process to get us the best possible outcome. Yes, of course it benefits them as well but they genuinely earned their fee on this one and we're extremely grateful. Thanks again, Clare and Abbi - we would have given up on the sale if you hadn't guided it to completion so professionally.

As Oakwood Agency is reasonably new to me, I have been a little apprehensive as what I could possibly be expecting from it. Oakwood Estates were absoutely fantastic with letting out a property. There were several issues, such as getting energy and gas certificates, rehanging cuphoards and arrainging for some of the rooms to be painted/recarpetted. They took care of everything. They kept me fully informed at all times. Their contractors generally came in within less than a week, no matter how big the job. It meant all the issues were fully sorted within a few weeks. And they found a tenant for the property who moved in within a day of our finishing the works at a higher rent than we advertised. They were friendly throughout, fully informative and their rates are very standard for the industry. I could not recommend them highly enough.

I have to say that Abbi @ Oakwood Estates could not have been a better estate agent for my brother and I. As joint executors we felt a lot of responsibility concerning the sale of my deceased uncle's property. Abbi helped shoulder that responsibility in numerous ways. Abbi's attention to detail, her excellent communication skills, with all concerned, her incredible ability to sort out problems that might have slowed the progress of the sale (there were many), her great sense of humour and genuine interest in helping us, was outstanding! I felt she was on our side. I would advise anyone wanting a prompt and effective service, as well as a great human being to deal with, to engage Oakwood Estates. Claire, in the office, who we spoke to on the phone quite a few times, also helped us a great deal, and was always up to date with the progress of our sale. A great comfort. When I was getting frustrated with my big brand estate agent(Maidenhead area), I reached out to Oakwood Estates as a secondary estate agent. I didn't really believe when Claire said I only needed one good agent. The difference was remarkable as they were really selling my home than selling themselves. They were innovative, accommodative as well as extremely proficient in their field. Claire, Abbi and the team did a really great job of selling the house as well as following though the process till the very end with great care and efficiency. Oakwood Estates, Clare and Kirsty in particular, were a pleasure to deal with from the start and found us a buyer quickly and at the right price. We had a bit of a disaster when the buyer pulled out unexpectedly, but Oakwood found another within 48 hours. They were proactive with managing the chain while our new buyer got up to speed and then had to manage further issues down the line when our lender was being slow! I cannot fault them and I don’t think we would have managed to complete on both our sale and purchase (which we also found via Oakwood) without the help of Clare and her team.
