Being a tenant of Lawlors for year and a half now and I would like to share my experience so far. It was good at the beginning, hence why my other review, but now ....: Firstly, this agency seems to be changing their approach, perhaps in the past they were an amazing agency, however now after several long serving members have left, no one seems to care about anything but money. Had several disputes with their property management department, who are pushy, rude and don’t really care about tenants/landlords, only want to book contractors to carry out unnecessary repairs for the expense of landlords. When you oppose or aren’t able to accommodate "approved contractors" you get threatened that they won’t extend your tenancy and “possibly” withhold your deposit. Expect someone to be in your property at least one a month to waste your landlord’s money. When contractors turn up, they don’t care about tenants and are constantly saying that they would use the spare key to gain entry to the rental property you call home ... if you are not able to accommodate them, the property management gremlins threaten you with charges and force you to accept contractors, regardless of your current circumstances. Tried to raise a complaint with an operations manager due to concerns that the building services manager won’t be able to handle the complaint, guess what - he referred me back to the same manager regardless of my concerns. No point using this agency, stay away, unless you don’t want to have any control over your home and want to accommodate unappreciative and unprofessional people through your tenancy.

"Lawlors- flawless" In handling our recent sale on Tycehurst Hill ,the Elite team at Lawlors exhibited these rare elements so frequently lacking nowadays which consist of understanding the client's "needs" and matching them seamlessly to the buyer's "wants". In the capable hands of Heidi Foster and executed ably by Chris Didds our sale progressed smoothly with a favourable outcome. At no time during the process did we feel sidelined and the viewings were tailored to the buyer's requirements. In truth the process ,which can at times be fraught, went like clockwork. Old school values rule. Indisputably worth the fees and comes with our unreserved recommendation.

Further more, I felt Lawlors went that much further than some other agents in trying to secure me a buyer for my property in the way my house was marketed and socialised to potential buyers. We recently brought a property through Lawlors in Loughton. We saw about 5-10 properties with Deen. He made the experience enjoyable and made the effort to understand what my husband and myself needed. Felt like he was on side during the negotiation process and once the sale was agreed was very helpful with regards to getting us access to measure, show parents and have surveys done.
